Crash at Loading Story Mode

I have Steam version.

 

EDIT:

 

I was having the same issue where the game would crash loading story mode, I deleted the metadata.dat file located in the game installation folder "Grand Theft Auto V\update\x64" and this fixed it for me. I have grass on high with no issues.
