Cars do not visibly dent on impacts.

I am using a completely untouched vehicles.img and handling.dat, although all of a sudden, cars no longer visibly dent when they crash. The collision model of vehicles still do take dents, though.

Cars still get scratches/bullet holes/blood, and the car bumpers still get loose after hard hits.

 

This means that I can ram a taxi into a building, and it will look alright, although now part of the front end is unsolid, as if there was a dent there.

 

Can you guys help me?

I cannot reinstall the game as I lost my discs, and I am not looking to pirate it. I am running version 1.0.7.0

Couple questions more:

-Bullets?

-Explosions?

-Did you mess with ANY files?

I used an unofficial no CD patch; it's been working flawlessly for months until now, so I doubt that's the cause.

Fixed it! I just reinstalled the 1.0.7.0 patch, and cars are now taking dents again.
