Davve95
Hey! I'm having some problem with my PC, when the boot there's no Intenet. And you have to go to Controlpanel > Network and Internet > Networkconnections .. And toggeling my Intenetnet on and off before it want to work. I have never found a good enough way to troubleshot it. Until now. For these who need it: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-hk/windows-vista/using-windows-network-diagnostics-event-logs-to-solve-network-problems It's for Vista though, that I discovered when I was done. Then I have the soulotion why it was so hard to find every settings xD. I'm running Win 7 Ultimate x64 But anyway: I came up with these things: Errors > Dhcp-Client: The computer have not assigned any adress for the network (of the DHCP-server)for the networkcard with the network adress ********** . The following error occurred: 0x79.The computer is still trying to get a adress from the DHCP-server. Log name: Microsoft-Windows-DHCP Client Events/Admin Source: Dhcp-Client Event: 1001 Level: Error User: LOCAL SERVICE Opcode: TheIpAdressIsNotShared Can I post the network adress here? (Idk what you can share and what not) And there's a ton of other ones, I guess they're the same though. Edit: They're. Warnings: The name matching for www.msftncsi.com caused a time out becuse none of the configurated DNS-servers replied. Logg name: System Source: DNS Client Events Event: 1014 Level: Warning User NETWORK SERVICE Opcode/opocode (?): Infomation I hope this is enough and it's readable, I had to translate everything as my computer are set at Swedish. Sombra
google your ISP's dns settings then go to the network adapter, right click > properties then choose "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)", click properties again, tick "use the following DNS server addresses" and enter the ones you've found or try 8.8.8.8. and 8.8.4.4 those are googles open dns settings iirc Edited April 27, 2016 by Blaze Davve95

sivispacem
Sounds to me like your ISP isn't assigning you an IP address via DHCP.
