This list is a bit huge, so I'll put it in a selection of spoilers below. I'm kinda going for a turn-of-the-century, "Y2K" America style with this, but plenty of stuff from across the 20th century world is in there. The concept being that, while the majority of vehicles could be found on the road or in certain expected places, rare or foreign examples would be found in specific ways - in a museum, or stored away somewhere, or purchasable on a website. Some pretty obscure things, really. I've tried linking articles about each vehicle, but some are too obscure and you'll need to do some research yourself. Shouldn't be hard. And don't worry, aircraft and watercraft enthusiasts, there's a good smattering in here for you, too. Listen up, Rockstar!

I've divided the list into classes, similar to GTA V's vehicle class system but expanded and altered. Some vehicles might appear in multiple classes based on varieties of the same model, such as a Sedan and a Coupe version, while classes sometimes override others, such as Historical including certain Compacts. Returning vehicles' entries should be taken as a catch-all for all of their variations, like the Tornado having Lowrider and Rat-rod variants, unless listed separately. Likewise, specialty variations of vehicles such as lowriders, beaters, homebrew racers, et cetera, are not listed but should be assumed where they make sense, such as a 1970s sedan appearing in both clean and beater condition.

Four-door cars and station wagons, not necessarily notchback but usually so. No focus on performance but not exclusionary to cars with high power output.

regarding vehicles in 6, what id like to see is what Rockstar have sort of done in online:

were, you can buy a car then transform it to either a classic version or a cabrio version.

the elegy can go from an 'r35' version to the 'r33' version.

or maybe take a issi and convert it to the soft top or a classic.

this would mean less cars in the for sale pages but would still offer a bigger range of availability.

take the obey 9f, you can buy this as a hard top or soft top, but its still the same car so only needs 1 ad.

R* should include cars in a city according to which are currently in real-life city it's based of, e.g. if there are a lot of Chrysler 300c then Schyster PMP600 should also spawn a lot, if there are a few Toyota Altezzas and Subaru Impreza WRXs or only one then it should be extremely rare or only one parked, if there's no 1961-1965 Lincoln Continental then Vapid Chino should be only purchasable from internet.

Also all vehicles that don't exist currently in the real-life city should be only purchasable in its GTA rendition or appear outside the city area such as countryside

EDIT: ok there shall be an exception for muscle cars and lowriders - there should spawn at least 7 in every district every hour

I would just like the Hunter helicopter to come back. The buzzard doesn't cut it for me.

Also some more military hardware would be nice.  (Think striker urban assault vehicle/ APCs/ Ultra AP [explosive resistant vehicle]).

Also, the hovercrafts from San Andreas were fun, if a bit unwieldy.

Strange idea, but I'd love there to be a used car dealership where we can buy old vehicles from the 3D Era, like Vice City's Top Fun van, or the Love Fist limo. They could all be rusted to Hell and beaten up, maybe with the owner telling us about some of them. It would just be a cute nod to the old games and give us some unique vehicles.

Instead of a vehicle, why not functionality of them? Rather than just be a tool of mindless driven shenanigans how about giving them depths to them tho?

IMO, R* is rich now they can license real life brand. Less work to do bc they can access to the 3d model of each car brand the port it to game.

Not gonna happen, ever. Besides, R* wouldn't be able to get creative with puns and parody names if they put real brands and models

Nah, I liked their car designs. They are interesting and series one of main points.

If you want real cars just install car mods.

Well i asked for just 1 race car for GTA V all those years ago, so my wish is well a F1 car or indy car. Tho ill settle for any race car that can go faster then the cars in any of the GTA games, hopefully a race track on the map as well. Kinda did get a race track in V but for horses.

I would like to see every HD era vehicle ever made plus of course a load of new ones.

There's like 20+ HD era cars that didn't find their way into V/Online.

More classic versions too.

Also a tank that can actually last more than 3 minutes on a rampage!

The last one especially, I mean what's the use of having a tank in the game when it blows up in a couple of minutes when you're practically using the tank for well, tank activities.

If the next game takes place in the 80s then that's a plausible timeframe for the L-1011 to be in operation, right? I'd love to have them ingame.

Punch Out | Fan Fiction

AGENT: ‘Evening. We’ll be taking that yellow tape of your hands. Enjoy the sidelines.

GTA: ‘That’s real cute, chief. But, sorry; as long as I got some action glued to a script, I’ll be the one f*cking up screens real good forever. So... I’m gonna franchise tag this crown.’

AGENT: ‘Look... I don’t want to have to put a fist to your ego. Comply or get ready to be a friend to sorrow and to watch your life get dressed in bulls*it.’

GTA: ‘So that’s your playbook, huh? Intimidation? Last time I checked I don’t got a camo patch and you ain’t Mr. Ten Hut!’ So why don’t you just let off the gas, ‘kay?’

AGENT: ‘I’ll stop stroking the throttle when you take clowns strutting around and stretching their happy meat that throws c*mshots across the map - orbital cannons - out of your multiplayer equation!’

GTA: ‘Online is sexy and the sharks know it.’

Tuesday: ‘Lmao, what was your BAC level when you massacred that sentence?

Real life simulation: ‘It doesn’t matter, because when that former guitar guy squirts his Scottish dressing all over this dream that’s been hiding from those YouTube leeches? F*cked. Everyone’s life’s and the competition.’

Da’Rell Remier: ‘Bro... I can’t even f*ckin’ believe a game like this exists. This ain’t even a game. This ain’t even humanity. How do you even begin to pick the mind of something this legendary that’s out of the universe’s control?’

PlayStation 5: ‘Here’s how: you give them a story, they steal that story and turn it into a frenzy and thousands of ‘ka-chings’ per click.’ As for the second question: personally, I cannot bring myself to settle; I have to keep it real.’

Tuesday: ‘Yep, and it’s about to get real.’

GTA: ‘Sorry, I don’t follow. This thing’s black and white.

Tuesday: ‘It’s over. The mind of fiction gets to be the mind of stagnation. You gotta know when a quit is a good quit. Punch out for life, respect you legacy and let a new breed of hope write its legacy with a nod to a veteran like you.’

GTA: ‘What the f*ck? Are you trying to-‘

Tuesday: ‘Don’t drag grief across your skin. Listen to that; that’s your legacy. Milestones that found their way to a new milestone. You’ve done good and a lifetime of childhoods and nostalgia thank you for your service. You will always be one of the greats.’

Maude Eccles: (s*its herself) Yeaap. Good to empty out the dumpstah!’

Da’Rell Remier: Ughhhh! N*ggah be needin’ Depends!’

Sam Adams: ‘Maude! Show some f*ckin’ character, lard a*s!’

Maude Eccles: ‘I’m just waitin’ ‘til the diabetes ‘n fat pockets, gobbles me up ‘n kills me.’

Jared Rod Hodges: ‘Really sorry about that. Would you mind signing up to mah You-Tube channel? Gonna be doing Grand-Theft-Au-to-On-line Christmas carols. I just wanna up the digits in my bank account. Strict demographic of 8-12 only, please. Thanks.’

Da’Rell Remier: ‘Yea, sure I got you; after yo’ a*s choke on Kim Jung-un’s s*it!’

Lamar Davis: ‘Aye, Jared? You from the ATL, right? Let me kick some 411 yo’ way, n*ggah. Take yo’ bean pole a*s to the ‘hood n’ try your thievin’ bulls*it. I guarantee you’ll be talkin’ out yo’ bowels if you try strippin’ them of they paper.’

Jamir Baker: ‘Nobody f*cks with my b*t ch!’

Lamar Davis: ‘Only thing f*ckin’ wit ‘yo a*s is the leaf you wipe it with.’

Tuesday: ‘Hahaha!’

Leslie Benzies: ‘I was hoping to be introduced as a sexy Scottish c*nt, but Maude gave me a great idea for my new game: you can be diagnosed with diabetes and have cellulite. Thanks, dumpster a*s!’

Tom Brady: ‘Wooooo! Oh my god!’

Tuesday: ‘You’re 2 days early, Tom. Patience.’
