Bikers of GTA unite!

Over the past two months 70 Biker Clubs in GTA Online have come together with the signing of a petition, to ask Rockstar Games to finally release DLC content to the MC Community. We've waited 2 1/2 years and our time has come!

 

With the petition hitting it's original goal of 1,000 names and continuing to climb, this video was released today. This video created by the president of Banished Breed MC acts as a true shout to Rockstar to give us the content that the MC community within GTA V truly deserve.

I take it you mean new customisation, some new bikes, patches, stuff like that?

This isn't my thing, but I acknowledge a desire and a place for it.

 

That said, they should introduce a set of VIP games designed to work around an MC motif instead of a crime syndicate motif. It wouldn't be that hard, hell maybe all VIP needs is a few new clothing options to allow people to find their inner dirtbag.

You know it's funny, I actually considered Lowriders 2 to be the "stealth biker" update, since it added the compact assault rifle and double barreled shotgun. It's not a bad video overall, the open locations like Bahama Mamas is not a biker specific request, but one I echo as well. The ability to paint the Sovereign would be amazing (I had a black one that was gifted to me by a MC leader I helped out on PS3, but reverted to the stars and stripes when transferred).

 

I do think you're a bit off base by saying you've gotten "hardly anything to show for it" though, or that any particular segment of the community deserves specific content. We get what we get, and we keep playing or we don't. I am no expert, however based on the fact that you cannot use first person mode while directing one of the NPCs that you speak about wanting the clothing of, there may be additional modelling/programming that is required to allow this, to avoid potential clipping etc. Might be why the beards don't get too shaggy either. Just saying, please don't take their exclusion personally, there may be reasons.

 

That said, I wish you the very best of luck, because any of these requests would benefit me, (I love my choppers) and more variety generally benefits anyone, even when others don't care for the content.

I first rolled my eyes, thinking this was just a Wishlist thread but on a higher budget. I rolled my eyes even harder when there's a bad-ass intro to the video and then this freshman voice comes on totally ruining what I thought would be a gravely Motorhead fan. The more I listened, though, the more I was amazed. Amazed not at what little content there is for MC's/bikers (I already knew that) but amazed that different MC's came together for something other than killing each other and posting pictures of the dead with their patch shown. While my views on MC's aren't in your favor, I will say you've made me think enough to click the link and sign this petition. Hope it helps.

Oh, and I didn't sign it because I want more stuff for MC's - that's actually very close-minded of you lot - I signed because this is perfect for us that dislike fancy clothing. Just like you, I'd love to have the rugged and downright dirty jeans and jackets. I want to hop in my Rat-Truck and take to the sand in epic chases, crash and get out to shoot at my pursuers in nothing but clothes bought at a flea market. So why limit this plea from MC's when there's so many players wanting less-expensive/fancy stuff? I get theme updates is something you'd like but why package it as for MC's only? Seems a bit exclusive, don't you think? There's so many amateur non-MC bikers out there, let alone the fact people who just want a weekend bike like a Harley. Just feels you're playing the MC route harder than what you need to make it. Ask for the GTA community to help out (this thread is a start), not MC's that follow strict and otherwise demanding codes of ethics.

Sorry for derailing this and for probably being misinformed but MC hunting for a friend that wanted to join MC's in the past has shown me how corrupt and bad some MC's are. I honestly hope this update comes to fruition, though, as The Lost are still a prevalent part in GTA:O but in typical R* fashion I'm sure they'll just point to GTA IV TLaD and say they already did biker stuff. It sucks because despite knowing we want stuff R* just goes with its own agenda. I will say that if such biker stuff comes out I'll know that a ripped leather jacket stained with grease will cost 20K.

Once upon a time, petitions were used for something worthwhile in an attempt to bring about social reforms. Now it's used for a video game.

 

There's already loads of biker stuff in game. Any additional items wouldn't make for much of an update - more of a bolt on to a larger overall update.

I typed where are his facts in hopes he would give me information on how he knows that Rockstar won't release a themed dlc again, and how his knowing of Lowrider's unpopularity actually comes from. Because using this community or even the Rockstar Social community isn't accurate do to the size of said communities.

I normally don't object too much to new content suggestions, but this one directly flies against what I want. The reason? If we were to get a biker related DLC then that would be it for motorbikes, probably for good. Certainly for the foreseeable future. Now while I have no objection to biker content generally, the motorbikes that it would include would be sh*t for the way I use bikes. It would mean I may as well just accept the 3 or 4 bikes that I currently have for purpose, and forget ever getting anything else I want.

 

I've wanted some real bikes for around 2 years now, and we've had 1 (that suits my purpose). I never complain about this, but I can't support something that will basically leave the game dead in the water for me.

Banshee, Sultan and Sabre came out of the lowrider updates...

 

If we got 5 choppers and 3 sport bikes would that not wet your palate? Just seems like this is the biggest push I've seen the community make for a DLC besides heists. So for you to poo poo on the best chance of new bikes seems kinda silly.

 

It's not like any other kind of update has yielded any sport bikes. Out of every DLC we've gotten the Hakuchou. You wanna continue that trend or hope for a full fledged biker DLC that will most likely include more than choppers.

I have to say, NO, unfortunately.

While the concept sounds cool as it is, I don't think R* should devote their time to one complete Update around it, maybe parts of this kind of stuff could get added along the way, but I think there are more important areas for GTA Online to build upon, like for example VIP Work, Gang Areas, Free Mode Events and the creator.

 

Such a themed update sounds nice at first, but basicly it adds almost no new gameplay mechanics that would be suited for a big audience.

 

Also, by the fact that GTA Online has about 8 million active players[state:January, 2016],(1.2 Million on PC[state: Today]), I highly doubt that 1000 signatures are going to be enough, not trying to be a dick here, but I am just being realistic.

Awesome video.I'm not in an MC crew,but I do love motorcycles and have a bike both in GTA (actually multiple bikes in GTA) and in real life,and I support this 100%.R* should have made a biker DLC a long time ago,but for some reason they keep ignoring bikers (the last time they released a motorcycle was almost a year ago).

Yeah,maybe we can make our characters look like bikers,but barely (I can't make more than maybe 3-4 somewhat biker looking outfits,and they all look similar).Sure there's a black leather jacket,some jeans,boots and bandanas,but what about all the other stuff?What about leather and denim vests,better helmets,actual biker boots,proper beards,long metalhead style hair,biker tattoos,accessories like spiked wristbands and wallet chains,ability to combine face bandanas with matching head bandanas,ability to tuck jeans into boots,more bikes,proper bike customization...There have been luxury DLCs,tactical DLCs,ghetto DLCs and even a hipster DLC,motorcycle enthusiasts deserve at least one too.

And that stuff about bikers having a reputation of racists is bullsh*t.There's a bunch of multiracial motorcycle clubs across the US (Mongols and Bandidos for example).Even in game there's a multiracial biker gang (The Lost MC).

Also,if I remember well,you always come to sh*t on biker DLC concepts,not because a biker DLC is unnecessary,but because you have some kind of problem with bikers.
