Pat Posted April 18, 2016 Share Posted April 18, 2016 (edited) The Pigeon Forge Rod Run is a massive cruise that takes place in April and September of every year, and is a multiple day event where roughly eight miles of Pigeon Forge's main drag are filled to the brim with all kinds of classic cars, hot rods, rat rods, exotics, imports, and everything else you can think of. I didn't get as many pictures as I planned to - I only spent Friday night at the actual Rod Run, all of Saturday was dedicated to cruising on and around the Tail of the Dragon - but I still ended up with 200 photos over the span of both days. I plan on uploading all of those photographs here, starting with the Rod Run tonight, then Deal's Gap & the Tail of the Dragon tomorrow, and eventually I'll have three videos uploaded: 1. Driving my E34 on the Dragon 2. Riding with Lurch on the Dragon (I sh*t myself with fear in the beginning and almost puke at the end) 3. Miscellaneous footage of the area I've structured the photos in a way that showcases all of them here, but gives special emphasis to photos that I found to be the best of the bunch. All of the photos are available here in their original resolution. This is the same format I'll use for tomorrow's photos, which will be posted in this thread (as will the videos). Believe it or not, all of these were taken with a point & shoot. I do not own a DSLR. This camera impressed the absolute sh*t out of me. The video of me in my car is going to be really boring in comparison - I drive like a senile grandmother compared to Lurch. Anyway, enjoy. Lurch Posted April 21, 2016 Share Posted April 21, 2016 (edited) Waiting on you was pretty painful after each little run. LIke 10-15 minutes after each time. I literally don't understand how someone could be that slow up there. Even when I had my slow E28 up there, I was still getting it pretty good and wasn't too far behind my faster companions.
