Its all about problem with send code :/

No, it's just you not using them properly.

Also it looks like that imgur link doesn't show any pic.

Yeah but when i tested it in game it looked a bit too generic and boring...it looked good in a 3ds max scene though

Your entire life looks generic and boring.

Just kidding. About the ped, it needs some improvement.

I transformed a boring prison uniform into an awesome jacket.

this might be my best model yet.

You still need to do something with these arms and the bottom of the jacket.

I don't get your obsession with resizing the bodies of all of your models.

GTA 3 ped bodies are large for a reason, so that chunks blend in. Besides that, your resizing isn't even all that proper - the head is unnaturally big compared to the rest of the body.

Sorry for coming off as a bit mean but this is modding 101 already.

P.S. Please weld your verts.

I resize my peds becuase editing the meshes scale does nothing bad to the chunks.I've tested this many times even directly after installed 3ds max and if the heads look to big don't you think i can easily resize them? i mean you did say that i scaled down the chunks what makes you think i can't scale down a head..

Not to be an assh*le or anything but it's pretty evident that after all of these screenshots none of them show the mesh being deformed or anything of the sort.

Wouldn't bet on it. Besides, the head is still unnaturally big.

Try respecting a base art style for a game, having little minion peds running around giants is gonna be funny.

The jacket still suffers from blending errors. I'm offering constructive criticism as a person with some degree of experience, whether you take it or not is up to you.

As for the little joke, that was pointless. Anyhow, good luck to you, mate.

You are completely wrong.when looking at the original GTA lll model then looking at my model mine was fatter than the original model.my model is fatter has bigger arms and has bigger shoulders to better fit the model...And even the protagonist before that had a big body but small head..

When creating him i took heavy inspiration from San Andreas espicially the jacket...even though i despise that game..the only problem is that i used a short old man to create him so he's 4 feet tall

Alright, the Oriental gentleman is a break from the rule but that still doesn't break my point.

For one, he's rarely used in actual gameplay, much like the butler who's also awfully skinny.

90% of characters use big chunks for blending purposes. Not to mention the fact that *all* skinny characters/peds wear shirts or slim suits. Jackets are a clear no.

I already told you yesterday that i purposely made this model with bigger chunks than the oriental gentlemen. He's wide has bigger arms and bigger shoulders..You choosing to disregard that fact is beyond me

I'm not disregarding it. I'm just witnessing the blending errors.

There is one single way to make it all work like charm. Make the model full mesh (like VC models) and then proceed to cutting it in parts yet again after you're done detailing.

It should all blend in properly. Even with a gnome body. :)

Even then that can cause rigging problems in-game.Since the jacket is black it will be nearly impossible to see where one part begins and the other part ends.

Also since my 3ds max isn't working and the model is glitched and causing crashing the mod is basically at a dead end.

Eh..the "other way" of getting max is too risky for my liking...remember that the "other way" installed a virus on my old PC

3ds Max still isn't working.either i'm gonna have to delete it and reinstall it or download an older version.

(sorry for double posting)

Since it's 5 am (Central Time) and i have a huge test i'm gonna have to wait until i get home to do it..Once my 3ds max is fixed i'm going to release a workshop..since i kept a few models hidden

Jackets are a clear no-no

When making the model i almost fully forgot about Sam Houser..i might use him instead

OP, you should just make a workshop or move this thread to the character section since just a few character edits isn't really that much of a total conversion tbh.

This mod had a good run but i'm gonna end it now..it had a good run and without this i wouldn't have 3ds max but it's been going on long enough and i've simply lost inspiration. All of these peds and more will be released on my workshop..also i'm planning something else that i'm gonna release (P.S It's not a GTA 1 to GTA 3 mod)
