Does anyone else's computer fan go nuts-

-when listening to Self Radio?

I dunno if it belonged here or in the troubleshooting section. It isn't exactly a problem since everything else works fine, but whenever I change the station to, say, the pop station or anything else to Self Radio, my computer fan starts revving up like nuts. When I switch it back to any other station, it slows down and goes all calm. Does this happen to anyone else or is it just me?

Whenever I listen to Self Radio, I lose a few fps, but that's supposedly because the game is playing user files using Windows Media Player in a background process.

It's because Self FM eats up more CPU than it should. No way to fix it.

This. CPU usage gets increased by 15%-20% when listening to Self Radio, at least in my case (could be more or less for others).

Either get better cooling or learn to live with it.

 

Oh, and the frame loss can be fixed (or at least improved) by playing the game on an SSD.

Frame loss can be fixed entirely by both a fast SSD and a powerful CPU.
