What 3 Music Artists Would You Want To Meet?

Recommended Posts

Big Mike

Three individual people. Not a whole band unless there's three or less of them in the band. They can be from any genre you choose.

I'll start.

1. David Draiman because he is the lead singer of Disturbed, my favorite band.

2. Dave Mustaine from Megadeth because I think he is a good singer and great guitarist and is overall an awesome music artist.

3. Alice Cooper because I heard he is a great, down to Earth guy to meet and fame hasn't gone to his head. Plus he is a great musician.

  1. Aphex Twin, I would be amazed If I met him, giving me an autograph and take a photo with him.

Richie Hawtin, aka. Plastikman, his minimal techno stuff is the best, completely a master.

Beth Gibbons, Portishead vocalist, she's my idol, I'm truly a big fan of Portishead.

1. Ice Cube, definitely a lyrical genius and such a badass rapper.
2. Billie Joe Armstrong, vocalist of my favorite band. Great singer, especially at live.
3. Tiesto, the best electro musician in my opinion and the most influential DJ in the world.

1. Axl Rose: Lead singer of Guns N Roses, probably would have some badass or crazy stories to tell from his heyday in the 80's to mid 90's.

2. Marty Friedman: Famous for being the longtime guitarist of Megadeth and has released a lot of great solo material, I'd like to talk to him about playing the guitar and how he constructs technically impressive yet at the same time melodic, soulful and memorable solos, plus he just seems like a down to earth and chill guy.

3. John Frusciante: Was the lead guitarist of Red Hot Chili Peppers and I'd be interested in talking to him about his time with the band.

  • David Bowie

Lady Gaga

Lana Del Rey

I'm a few decades too late, but I heard and saw in videos that David Bowie used to be a really cool guy and he had a great sense of humor. When I heard his album Blackstar was released I was hoping for a tour so I could at least see him performing some of his new songs but then I heard that he died of cancer. I also would love to meet Lady Gaga and Lana Del Rey. I have been listening to Lady Gaga's music since the moment Just Dance and Bad Romance hit the radio and her old songs reminds me of a younger me. Edited by Michael

Mister Pink

1. Jim Morrison - to go drinking with, I reckon we could drink for a couple of days.

2. David Bowie - not because I'm his biggest fan, but I know he gets it. He's very open-minded when it comes to music and doesn't shy away from the new. From his interviews he seems like an easy to get along with person.

3. Aphex Twin - He might be a bit awkward to get a long with, who knows but there's mystery about him. Maybe meeting him will kill it.

Meeting Lemmy Kilmister would have been nice.

Make sure you're congested before meeting him.

He was the second stinkiest musician I've met behind George Clinton

Queen

Freddie Mercury and the rest of Queen...but if not the rest of the band then perhaps Billy Joel and Dave Grohl. It's so hard to choose. I probably would have mentioned Jakob Dylan, but I already met him so... :p

  • Edwin Starr - I listen to him almost everyday and own several of his albums, but sadly he's dead.
  • Otis Williams of the Temptations - He founded the Temptations (And the only original member who's still alive), he's still in the lineup after all that time, and they're probably the first artist I ever fell in love with.
  • I have a hard time deciding on the 3rd, but I'm probably gonna go with Ice Cube, I grew up listening to N.W.A and the members solo.

Beth Gibbons, Portishead vocalist, she's my idol, I'm truly a big fan of Portishead.

David Bowie

Ha, not surprised.

1- Geddy Lee, bassist of Rush (also arguably most talented bassist ever technically speaking)

2- Freddie Mercury, because of his aura of charisma

3- Liam Gallagher, because he is funny and probably a blast to be around

Liam Howlett of The Prodigy.

Harold Bluchel aka Cosmic Baby.

Ferry Corsten.

3 artists I really just love damn near anything they touch. That said, the old saying of never meeting your heroes comes to mind, lol. But a night out with Liam would be epic, and picking these 3's brains surely would be very interesting learning I feel. Creative stuff to me. :)

Paavo Siljamaki - Above & Beyond

Jono Grant - Above & Beyond

Would love to know more about these two and talk about their Dirt Devils project.

Joel Zimmerman - deadmau5

This guy may act like an asshole sometimes but he's f*cking genuine, would love to talk not only about his music but about life in general.
