sagsf420
I'm considering getting the game for PC when I get a decent computer so I can mod the game and help make it more immersive, and these police chases happening every few minutes is annoying as sh*t lol. I'd love to be able to just cruise around in peace without worrying about being run off the road by the cops or panicked AI. If no mod exists would it be possible to do or is it hard wired into the game?
Lamborghini1335
Alex Blade's trainer that comes with the SH has a function I think under "World" I would download and use that. AI chases don't bother me that much but I guess personal perference.
kayesem
I know the feeling from playing PS3 while I was waiting to collect all the parts to build a new desktop that could run everything without catching fire and what not. For sure, nothing compares to gta on PC, it fking rules. The online thing is bullsh*t but some people like it. Do your research before you spend coin on hardware, and also before downloading or attempting to download the game if you purchase it online. It's 60 GB. My net is cable with decent speed but my data limit is 30 GB per month. ...kinda made things tricky, and then the downloader / installer hangs all the time so you can't just wander off and let it go, you need to watch it the entire time for server / connection dropouts and this certain type of file that keeps appearing in one of the game directories, you need to spot and delete the little buggers as soon as they crop up, and then the game files will resume downloading properly. I deleted dozens of these things over about 6 - 8 hours at least, but yeh, all the info is on the Rockstar support page FAQ in the comments. I did not choose to go Steam, I went R* warehouse / social club - online official download for about $60 when it was on sale. Hardcopy is another option but yeh, it's like 6 DVDs worth or more apparently. Anyway, all good. That's the easy part compared to waiting on collecting / hunting down all the parts to build a custom rig that can actually run everything on decent settings - 4k resolution & averaging 38 - 42 FPS with high graphics settings - can be done without breaking the bank hey. Mods are neato. Anything you can imagine, it can be done, and probably most things have been done already plus 500 things you never would have imagined. I use simple trainer - https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/simple-trainer-for-gtav It's greatness. There are options to: Raise wanted level Clear wanted level Never wanted [toggle enable / disable] Get all weapons / ammo Fast run / huge jump Teleport anywhere on map Change time / weather Spawn bodyguards / drivers / characters Spawn mod vehicles The list of new mods coming out every day is relentless and will be non-stop until gta vi hits the globe. I built a PC with graphics / music / gta v in mind and have been modding non stop for about the last 4 months. Heaps of headaches but fairly worth it when you get everything setup and running sweet.
