Yoona Posted April 12, 2016 Share Posted April 12, 2016 Hey, few months ago there was a topic stating that Rockstar stopped accepting requests to reset character's appearance (why this isn't part of the game since almost 3 years is beyond me) I know there used to be a glitch allowing you do to it yourself, something about having 2 characters. REVENGE777 Posted April 13, 2016 Share Posted April 13, 2016 (edited) 1. have an empty character slot 2. create a character (this character will be scrapped) 3. play through the tutorial and reach the character to rank 6. 4. leave gta online. 5. return to online as the throw away character 6. a prompt will pop up requesting character change. 7. disconnect your internet from the system. 8. return to V and select online character you want to edit. 9. character request prompt will pop up. 10. kk9fan97 Posted April 13, 2016 Share Posted April 13, 2016 (edited) the reason it is not part of the game probably is that they are too lazy and stupid to patch the glitch that can be done in the character editor that causes the invisible body parts. It Rockstar way too long to realize what they were allowing to take place by unlocking it for everyone (some players did have legit reasons for needing to do it - some of the "fixes" Rockstar put in to the game in a couple of updates caused players to have their character's appearances to change, but most of the players requsted to have it unlocked so they could cheat/gain an unfair advantage over other players by doing the glitch to get the invisible bodies. I would be surprised if they were to start unlocking it again, but like others have said, it would not be too surprising if a "plastic surgery update" comes out at some point and if you want to change your character's appearance you will probably have to pay a hefty price to do so. Confirm you want to edit your appearance. This is the best way. Especially with VIP missions and the current double RP events, ranking up to 6 is a breeze. Beware, OP, as you may lose Pegasus vehicles. 2-3 months into GTA:O I changed appearance and I loved changing my face up as I only had one main character. Once I made the cougar (sex change, technically but not physically) I got in-game and I was pretty happy with this little "exploit"...until I realized all my Pegasus vehicles were gone. Hackers weren't around to remove vehicles (if there is any that do that), we were still riding high from the billionaire days but most Pegasus vehicles were bought legit. That's why I'm saying there's a chance you may lose them as it's been so long ago and no one has reported this issue. Do it at your own risk.
