Or they could start charging $5-10 a month to play like world of warcraft

 

That would be the same day I pop out the disk, put it in the case, and probably never touch it again.

There is nothing they could add after nearly 31 months of playing that I would pay a subscription for.

Unfortunately this is what happens when money gets in the way. People get big heads and think they can do EVERYTHING by themselves. Do yall understand how messed up RDR would've been without The Benz?!? This may be is the 1st time ever that I am not looking forward to the next GTA game.

There is a certain amount of profit a company can make that will help to increase the quality of the products they offer.

However, profits can also exceed a certain limit, which will result in meddling by stakeholders to start demanding a constant growth of monetary profits.

Constant growth typically means that at some point, somewhere in the enterprise, cuts or shifts will be made within their businessplan to ensure said profit.

 

In other words:

 

- Smaller businesses, good for creativity, stakeholders remain human.

- Biggest businesses, only profits matter, stakeholders become monsters (they will literally start growing tentacles and whatnot).

While he may have been "THE dev" back then, I certainly don't think he's irreplaceable. With money, surely they can find someone (or multiple someones) to replace him. He is definitely not the only skilled or creative developer in the world.

Read what happened to Kojima, ended up creating his own studio and Konami fell into irrelevancy forever in the western world.

 

They have already replaced him with Imran Sarwar but we all know how incompetent that prick is. Kiss goodbye to GTA 6, it will be a developmental hell, and a lot of employees are bound to drop like flies.

I'm going to let the lawyers decide first before I make a decision. If The Benz was responsible for including Trevor in GTAV, I think he should get the last 5 years of his bonus and royalties clawed back.
