Oh no, you gotta earn cryptokeys by playing games, but now they're starting to add weapons that are sometimes overpowered and you have a slim chance of getting them with a regular supply drop. I've been playing since launch and i've only received one melee weapon that does nothing different than the combat knife, just a re-skin.

Just because some dev leaves a studio doesn't mean the game will suffer. Plus he was gone since GTA V launched on last gen.

Just because some dev leaves a studio doesn't mean the game will suffer. Plus he was gone since GTA V launched on last gen.

 

You didn't get the whole picture.

 

He wasn't the only one that was fired from the company. Entire teams were fired without his permission while he was on sabbatical.

 

This IS the end for GTA, and tons of people see it that way aswell.

I didn't read the article but if it says that GTA ONLINE generated that much money then it is from cash cards. What else would they make money from ONLINE? Did you forget that GTA ONLINE was free with the purchase of GTA V?

If I understand, this means that TTWO is doing fine with an incredibly simple-minded online game mode that is basically just children (up through high school and beyond) shooting at each other and blowing each other up, every day, from the time they get home from school, until their parents unplug their console at midnight.

 

That's as deep as it is. Even if, in some future GTA Online, they put out some cars that I really liked, so much that I would buy a $40 shark card so I could buy those cars and happily drive them around, I wouldn't buy them, just because some jet pussy would blow them up in less than 5 minutes. GTA Online is degenerating into a joke.

Sounds like it's going to be all bombs and bullets from here on out. No GTA 6 story, just an online twitcher. I wonder if Rockstar will even be able to create a new map? I have hope, as long as Aaron Garbut is still there.
