No, I'm not agreeing with the OP that I think Rockstar stole it from the Simpsons, I'm talking about the writing in general which is part of the discussion of the thread. The only people who are going off topic are you two who lack the reading comprehension and social skills to understand the conversation.

You came in complaining about something that didn't even happen, and use OP's example to support the idea that "the writing has gotten lazy."

It is lazy though. "Morningwood" is a lazy joke in 2016. I'd say that about GTA, the Simpsons, wherever. Not saying they stole from the Simpsons but it IS a lazy tired joke.

It's the name of a neighborhood. Quit acting like it's some punchline that the whole game built up to.

 

By this logic GTA SA is just as lazy and bad because of all the "69" references in it.
