Non Funkable Token

You can make all the money in the world, but you'll still be broke if you spend it frivolously. The key isnt earning it, it's not blowing it all blindly. Set yourself an easy goal like 1 mil and have something in mind you want. Don't buy it till you surpass that million. Rinse and repeat.

I do it. Started with the 1m mark. Then 2m. 5m. 8m. 10m. 15m. Now I'm on the 20m mark :colgate:

What people have already said, don't spend it on pointless crap.

Other day I logged in, started Piracy Prevention, won it, then did the time trial and beat it, then had 3 easy dailys, made over 100k in about 30 minutes.

Just to add, double $$ heists and double $$ VIP helped me make a hell of a lot.

Sitting on a legit 70m at the moment.

I'm a Day 1 player and it feels like I'm doing something wrong to get cash. I've seen a bunch of people here saying they're day 1 players (Or not) and they somehow get like up to $100 million. Meanwhile, I'm here, grinding out heists, events, and other jobs and I earn nearly $500,000 per month or less. So, tell me, How are you guys getting so much cash? Because grinding Heists and jobs is getting me nowhere and I'm not gonna buy a Shark Card just to spend it all in less than 15 seconds.

Just my personal (little bit of) knowledge and experience:

I am part of an active, super loyal crew, from day 1. We always have more than enough players to heist or grind missions, almost all the time. So we can heist or grind to our hearts content, easily and we share/give bounties. All money is honestly earned, no modding/cheats/glitches. When we heist, the older/higher ranked players have no problem taking zero cuts to help the newer/lower members... as a new member earning 150k+ (min) per heist, it adds up fast. CREW LOVE <3

Also, completing daily objectives can actually add up.

Stretch out Gerald missions like Pier Pressure or War n Pieces to 15+ minutes and you will get paid 19k

Everything mission/heist on hard difficulty, always

(i'm just getting started on 'next' gen, so I don't know about VIP, body guards, etc.)

GOOD LUCK :^:

I do free money drops, haha.

Nobody cares, haha.

Just find yourself some capable friends and do heists. That's the secret.

In short: live like a boring cretin and don't play the game the way it is intended and you should end up with a large number in the top right corner of the screen which is well important because it means you are better than everyone else.

Hope this helps,

How exactly is saving money in a game where one of the primary focuses is making money, NOT playing as intended?

I no lifed GTA for 7 months straight and got 88 million but after double money on heists, I took a 7-8 month break from heists and missions and all I did was just drive around. I recently got back to doing heists again last month, I had like 60 million. now I have 77 million. all you gotta do is no life the game and find people to do heists with on the forums. even if you can't afford to no life it, its still pretty easy to get at least 250k a day. I always get put into the Fleeca Job so much. other than that, I don't know what to tell you. :/

Have you ever seen a gangster film? These people aren't frugal savers with pension plans. They keep thousands of dollars in a money clip and give everyone they meet $50 to keep their mouths shut. You clearly don't know anything about the criminal underworld.

If you want to compare, using your example, there isn't much of a difference between that and coming off a freemode activity in GTA where you just made 30k+ and then dropped $100 to keep the cops off your ass.

There's gratuitous spending and sensible spending. Gangsters don't go drop a couple hundred thousand modding their cars out every other day. They spend when it's relevant to the grind. Do the same in GTA and you're a millionaire in no time.

Again I ask, how is spending your money sensibly NOT playing the game as intended?

If you're basing your knowledge of the criminal underworld off a couple movies, thats pretty sad. You may as well say you know all about cars because you watched Fast and Furious.

Haha you fly boys crack me up. You're the sort of person who drives to the other side of town because the petrol station there sells fuel for 1p less per litre.

I've watched the majority of The Sopranos too and at no point does anyone recommend sensible spending or long term investments.

Oh, someone just killed me in freeroam and is now doing doughnuts in their chrome 'whip', better not engage and launch a rocket at them because those babies are $750 a pop and killing them back would be a waste of valuable grinding time. Better to be the big man and walk away. Now I'm off to have sex with my Fleshlight and watch hentai.

Hope this helps,

grinding at first. then lsc glitching, then bountymillions, after the money wipe it was

the hookerglitch.

now its cashcards or a

friendly modder dropping money bags.

but whatever you do: 100k/hour is probably the ultimate formula on a long term.

And that's a low-end estimate too. If I have 3 good mission buds and all are using mics, I'll time the missions and we knock out over $170k an hour, gross, not net. You can join random heists too, hop in for a PSJ finale and accept 15%. Then friend some of those players and keep it going later. Money is really easy in this game, RP is actually harder relatively speaking.

I'm a day 1 player as well. I didn't spend money on useless stuff I don't need/want. I never was a fan of freeroam deathmatching with others so that saved me having to spend 50k on ammo every time I play. I also did the criminal mastermind and I still have around 3 mill left from it as well as a garage dedicated for cars that I will sell once I run out of money which would make around 2-4 mill total. Also I'm on PC so when I'll be completely broke I'll just find someone who can drop some cash bags :)

Dr Labuschagne

I'm not going to lie to you like everyone else here, but what I can tell you is...

1. If you don't have fibre optic or over a 20 mbps line, forget about making money or playing any other game for that matter.

2.Have at 3 friends that are very skilled, hardly cheat and very dedicated

3. Invest hours and hours if you have already acquired what rule one says you should have...

Have all this, and you should be in the billions by Sunday...

This guy right here has it right. You gotta play the game the way it is intended; never have any money saved up. When Rockstar releases something you really want to buy, like a Lowrider that would cost you 2 million to upgrade and fully customise, you whip out that wallet and get yourself a Shark Card. Instant gratification baby.

Hope this helps,

500k a month, are you kidding me? If I want to I can make 500k in a few hours just by playing missions, let alone heists. If you can't bother doing that you can either whine or grind dupe glitches when they're available. If you're a day one player you should know how to make or get money otherwise you've failed at this game.

Have you ever met a real life wise guy? The one I knew drove an early 80's Dodge Omni and lived in a modest house. You would never guess looking at this guy that he had the business/money/connections that he did. The people who live extravagantly off of criminal enterprises are either informants or very well connected, or they're just waiting their turn to take a huge fall.

The really clever criminals clean up their money and don't start showing wealth until they go legit or semi-legit.

Money in this game, to me, is not only a way of keeping score, but also (as IRL) a means to an end. It represents the freedom to buy nice toys if the mood strikes me.

If money wasn't the primary means of keeping score in this game, why did users buy half a billion real dollars worth of shark cards? I'd say if you don't care about money you may be in the minority among players.

OP, if you're on PS4 my screen name is my PSN name, friend me and I'll try to work you into our rotation if you need to get some stuff done and make some loot.
