Daily objectives like others have said makes $25,000 a day and if you do it everyday for a week it's $100,000 bonus every week and $500,000 bonus every month for doing them everyday and it's double that with 2 characters.

Last team standings pays well too

and freeroam events

Holding up with a mini gun lol i just run in and punch them take the cash and leg it

I usually just blast them in the face with a shotgun and take the cash but it was my weekly bonus so I thought I would do something a bit different.

Nothing wrong with creativity :) firework launchers a funny one as well

Lately for me it's been VIP work, Sumo, snipers vs stunters (or another random job), final heist, and repeat.

Heists and Missions. And if you missed out on the free $500k back in October of 2013, then you're likely out of luck. If you plan on getting rich quick, then you'll have to do Heists or get Shark Cards.

I started late, July 2014, I have 140M legit on my Primary Account, $70M on my secondary (3rd/4th character). I also play a lot, more than I should. High levels should easily have $100M especially if you a day one player I think.

It really comes down to how you spend you money, most people blow it like crazy in free roam and don't have a budget in mind and don't know when to step away.

Don't waste money, if you want to save. I see people go crazy on RPG's and Stickies. I choose to use grenades and will use RPG's and Stickies when I need to. I have everything I could possible want, cars, yachts, pegasus vehicles.

I mostly spend when there are Sales, I love sales and could easily drop $10M. I prefer to save my money for a rainy day. I save a ton of money just by waiting for sales.

Take advantage of Double $$ days and I grind heists, missions, lamar missions, survivals, play the game and you will naturally grow your bank balance, but use it wisely.

Also been doing a lot of VIP grinding lately ..

I know a lot of people who paid $20 to a modder who added 100 million to their profile just as I know people who grinded legit for it. Everyone I know is as frugal as I am. Don't bother buying anything with a set spawn like Buzzards, Titans, Luxors, etc. Hunt for the car on the street, don't buy it unless it's like the Nightshade or a car that's "too hot to mod" (which I consider to be bullsh*t). Don't buy every gun or max out on ammo. Get the cheapest 10 car garages and the cheapest 10-car apartment if you want a bunch of cars. Use Single Player to test out car paint and mods as well as cars rather than buying them, use solo races to test GTAO-only cars. Grab every Baller you see and sell it (immediate 9,000), don't just settle for what you have in the bank.

It really isn't hard to stretch a dollar. It may take a ton of unnecessary and excessive grinding to get anything worth while, but there are ways around spending a sh*t ton. When you get down to it, this mindset applies as much to video games as it does to real life: It doesn't matter how much money you make, what matters is how much you save.

I have grinded $48M or more doing mostly easy quick solo missions and letting them run 15 minutes for max payout, while I turn away from the console and get useful stuff done on the computer for 2/3 of the time.

So, yeah, I've been logged in about 6 to 8 hours per night, for 2 years straight, while Rockstar pays me in GTA$$, but 2/3 of that time is my own.

That's how you do it. Grind for 2 years, but be smart about it.

On a casual day with friends, VIP Work is the way to go. If we need fast cash, PSJ finale glitch. With the PSJ alone I can make 700k in 15 minute easy lol

When you don't worry about making money then money piles up.

Just play the game, don't get into senseless freeroam wars. Don't blow cars up because not only do you pay the insurance, you also use expensive ammo.

Kuruma driver killing you? Take the hits because once you shoot him out of the car and get him on foot, you will make up those deaths if KD interests you.

staying on top of cars I don't drive, I tend to stay within two garages even with 4/5 properties, I sell them if I haven't drove them in ages and don't see my self doing so in the future

I have 1 apartment w/10 car garage... and the rest of my properties are all 10 car garages; except for one 6 car garage out in Blaine County where I keep some of my off-roaders.

Other then that, my main garage is full except I keep an extra space open at all times. My airport garage is full except for 3 open spaces... and I have two 10 car garages out near La Mesa LSC; one of them is half full.. and the other one only has a pair of Dubsta 2's sitting parked in it... I keep the spaces in them open for grabbing and selling cars.

Most of the cars that I do have, that are my own... were a waste of time/resources/funds to acquire, cause I never drive them... they're just "show cars" since I spend 95% of my time driving my fully upgraded Bati 801 that most of the "kids" in their armored kuruma's and chrome plated T20's can't catch.

I collect Ballers, Dubsta 2's and Sentinel's and other high value street cars... and sell them, thats my main source of income aside from doing various free roam events. I usually always win Hot Property if I get my hands on the package and get away with it.... take a bike up Mt. Chiliad and park inside the cable car house at the top. The "kids" in their jets and choppers can't get you in there, and if they land and approach on foot, take your bike over the edge of dead mans drop on the other side of the mountain, parachute down into Paleto Bay... by the time they catch up with you, times up and you've won...and and 9 times outta 10, the bike survives the ditching when you drive off and ditch/pull chute... just call mechanic and have it redelivered.

Drive without Crashing challange... take a bike, and race it around the main freeway circling the island, against oncoming traffic, Stay on the center line... if you know how to ride your bike, you'll quickly rack up your score in seconds. Last night I finished with a score of over 200 while the others trying to compete against me.. 2nd place had around 67, and 3rd place had 36..

......and both were raging at me, saying I cheated...........

Like, seriously, I've done nothing but drive a bike in GTAO... I know, how to ride, a bike.... that includes racing full speed into head on traffic on the freeways..

Not a day one player, I'm a 5th month player. Main char has 5 Bennie's modified vehicles, 4 garages full of "keeper" vehicles, buzzard, Hydra, Tank, and recently a Yacht. He's also in the 260s. I have a second Char I started about 2 weeks ago who is in the mid 60's and already has a buzzard. I worked for more than 90% of what I have, the rest was shark cards, roughly about $70 worth of them. Judge as you wish, $50 of that was early on when I had the urge to "catch up". Then I figured out how to make money and realized how sh*tty a value shark cards were. The other $20 was due to that recent sale and one of those were given to my wife (she plays too).

My advice, stay the f*ck out of free roam. NOTHING in this game will eat your money faster than battling it out with your fellow players on the streets of Los Santos. With all the money spent in ammo sales I'm surprised there isn't a gold Z-type outside of every Amunation. Other than that, run missions, run heists with friends. When you get good at heists/scheduling go for criminal mastermind. I haven't yet but I'm not well experienced at heists yet. Sell NPC modified cars when you can. Take advantage of 2x payouts when they make sense. No the 2x payouts for these adversary modes don't make sense. You can run a VIP mission with 40% more pay in the same time period as one of the adversary modes they keep shoving down our throats.

Oh and one last thing, stay the f*ck out of free roam.

I'm a Day 1 player and it feels like I'm doing something wrong to get cash. I've seen a bunch of people here saying they're day 1 players (Or not) and they somehow get like up to $100 million. Meanwhile, I'm here, grinding out heists, events, and other jobs and I earn nearly $500,000 per month or less. So, tell me, How are you guys getting so much cash? You should be able to make about $400k in an hour and a half doing Pac Standard and that's assuming you're not taking advantage of the finale glitch ...

Money glitches but I try staying at a certain number. Right now it's at 45 million. It dropped to 43 due to lowriders but I grinded missions and vip missions back up there.

I completely understand this, I f*cking love the bati, I was using the lectro for a while and it felt like sh*t, and I do find myself just grabbing my bati rather than the exotic cars in my garage.

Non Funkable Token

Daily objectives and then sightseer vip work with contact missions in between. You'd get like 200k in an hour of gameplay if the dailies don't get too long to complete.

If you have more time to play and a 2nd character to double the daily objectives money, go figure the money you can make.

I have a dedicated heist team and we consistently manage to do all heists repeatedly within 1 attempt.

making almost record time each heist so its a few mill a day.

and Ive racked up a ton of levels being apart of my team since heists release.

first option : contact mission grind ( speed : high , payout : low )

second option : heist ( speed : depends on own's capabilities , ordinary pros usually takes more than elite challenge's time , payout : high , even higher if play full heist )

third option : cash cards ( speed : instant , payout : from $100.000 - $8.000.000 . require money to feed off the sharks )

fourth option : ask modders for " change " ( speed : instant , payout : ???? . require to exist in OG or PC )

you gotta read those recuring threads of this one guy who always gets banned and let you teach by his tremendous knowledge and his "methods" to become an "exotic millionaire" in no time!

to sum his "method" up it's about grinding alot and not spending any money on in his view unneccessary things and not having any fun while playing.

and don't forget to be very thankful for his unique tipps so he can be proud about his accomplishment and feel good for helping other people who are not as smart as he is.

Rules for making money:

1. Don't waste money in pointless free-roam battles.

2. Don't waste money in pointless free-roam battles.

3. Don't waste money in pointless free-roam battles.

4. Only participate in activities that make money and you find enjoyable.

5. Don't waste money in pointless free-roam battles.

By yourself, you can make between 10k-15k on average doing contact missions. Do these on hard, take your time (don't rush/don't go slow), and find different ways to do them. Use Pegasus vehicles so you don't spend money on ammo. After you finish one missions, pick another from the vote screen. Rinse, repeat. You can do 7-10 missions an hour easily. This translates to 70k-150k solo for just playing the game.

If you do them with other players (randoms at your own risk), then you make more money. If you don't rush, a.k.a. "grind", then it won't feel like your grinding.

There was a great money-making thread here the other day, which was really, really great, we all thought so! But the mods locked it!
Drat.
So, to copy and paste from the last three times I said this:
  1. as soon as you start online, get in an invite only session, alone, roam the map, steal gang cars, yellow/purple sultans, ballers, felons, oracles if you can't find anything else. Sell one, take a note of the time, fill your garage spaces with other cars you can sell later and another after 48 minutes.
  2. do Last Team Standing games such as "rockets v insurgents" - if there's 3 or 4 rounds, you'll net around 30k, plus, it's fun.
  3. don't get into battles in free mode. You'll end up using ammo, then buying ammo
  4. don't spend money ever, try cars in Single Player before buying them in online and hating them and yourself for wasting all your money and time, forever. Different clothing items are by and large a massive waste of time and money and anyone who says otherwise, plays with Barbie dolls. Nobody cares what colour f*cking t-shirt your avatar wears when they are filling it with bullets.
  5. avoid buying: aircraft, tank, stupid vehicles like a mule or that giant dump truck. Unless you have a few mill and really want a buzzard/savage/hydra
  6. If you have an attack aircraft, do the job "Trash Talk" solo, or if randoms spawn in, ignore them and use your aircraft to take out all the targets. Easy money.
  7. f*ck off and stop asking stupid questions. Go do.

hope the OP and other readers realize the yacht is a poor investment.

Sounds like you have never been on a Yacht. For this I am sorry... if you are on Psn, add me, AlienTwo, and I'll have you over for drinks, a dip in the tub, star gazing and getting really really stoned. Also strippers will be there. You might get punched in the face, but live hard, party hard.

Hey man, I have nothing against the Paleto Bay crew but you seem to have taken my post out of context. This thread is about making money in gta online. This thread is not about enjoying the simpler things in gta online. I appreciate your offer, too! I am actually docked just east of Paleto Bay. If I see you out there, I'll be sure to venture over!

13002480_1693681160897930_89519776667758@ violatingbox these paid for by my yacht plus activitys not savings yep its not worth it i guess

Wow, nice collection! Just imagine HOW MUCH MORE you would have if you didn't waste money on a yacht to earn $30k every 55 minutes!!!! You know, doing free vip work like Sightseer, Hostile Takeover, Executive Search, etc.

When launching the game, go into single player first, and then go into online in an invite only session. This will ensure fast loading times and nobody else to drag you down and cause delays. Turn matchmaking off.

Forget about events and races etc and especially stealing cars and selling them. here are some missions that you want to stick to, and can be easily solo'd on hard, these are the ones I can think of off the top of my head but there are others

Flood in the LS River

Deal Breaker

Trash Talk

Lost MC RIP

Pier Pressure

Check out time

Editor in thief

Go to start -> online -> jobs -> select one of these missions and do one, and after you finish it, if no good missions come up to select, quit out and select a mission again from free roam. by being in an invite only session, load times will be quick. also remember that the longer you take to finish a mission, the more money you get. for example, if you are about to finish a mission but have to use the washroom, put the controller down and use the washroom before you complete the mission, as it will increase the cash given.

I can make 300k in 2-3 hours or less doing this. sometimes I just like to grind out and not deal with others. I know its a multiplayer game but honestly other people will just slow you down. with the mini gun I can just mow people down in missions like flood in the LS river in 5 seconds too
