500k per month is absymal. You either dont play much at all or you burn a ton in freemode battles. I very rarely play in public sessions and I dont buy stuff I dont need or like, money really pilles up. And I dont even play much.

Many have been gifted their riches

Some players spend all day on it

I can make 500k in a few hours but to do that the yacht plays a big part

How do you make money with the yacht apart from piracy prevention? Genuinely interested

There is more than just that to do bud theres 4 other vip activitys that you can do in between the cool off and im sure you can vs your organization in side activity games as well

Real quick, piracy prevention pays $30k for 10 minutes of work. What is the cool down now? 45 minutes? So you are making approximately $30k AN HOUR for that particular vip work that requires the yacht. No other vip work requires yacht ownership. So to make back $6 million for the CHEAPEST yacht, you need to play approximately 200 times. Go big and get a $10 million yacht, its approximately 330 times! That is to break even! Without accounting for ammo usage too. I think a yacht is a very poor investment if you are looking for return on it.....

No Use For A Name

1. Figure out a plan of what cars and properties you want. I can't stress this enough. I've probably wasted $20 million moving around and modifying and selling various cars. I've spent over $2m on the Faction alone (bought 5 times, donked, etc) and don't currently own one. If I would have realized it's a piece of crap the first time I dropped $250k on one, I wouldn't have wasted literally millions on more. Before I decided on a 10 car stilt house for my sports classics, I'd moved them from various garages and apartments to the tune of half a mil. I've probably bought and sold Peyotes a dozen times. I know they're cheap, but it adds up quick.

2. On the subject of cars, eliminate buyers remorse however you can. Before buying, watch YouTube performance videos. Read about others' experiences on the forums. And use single player to your advantage! On the fence about a million dollar Stirling GT? Switch to SP and buy one and test it out. If you played SP competently, you should have millions of dollars to waste. Same goes for planes, boats, and other Pegasus vehicles. Find a paint job and stick with it, or test out various colors in SP. Paint jobs add up fast and don't increase the value of the car. I've spent well into 6 figures repainting my Surfer. It costs $11k new. That's dumb money management.

3. Don't waste ammo unless it's making you money. For missions or DO's fine, but you don't get anything for freeroam rampages. If you have an attack aircraft, use it as often as possible. You know that refill ammo option on the mission menu? I played for 3-4 weeks before having to buy more. If you're playing something like Chumash and Grab, wait for the Vago's boats to get close and take them out with an MG. don't waste $750-$1500 on homing launcher ammo. Oh, and snacks are way cheaper than heavy armor. $4 worth of snacks gives you just as much health as $400 worth of armor.

4. I know a lot of people will disagree with me, but don't waste money on clothes. I've worn the same tank top, shorts and sneakers for the last 3 months. Cost me maybe $350 GTA $. Sometimes I'll get crazy and change the color of my tank, but rarely.

Half of being wealthy is making money; the other half is managing it. Don't waste your money on crap you won't need in the long run and you'll be fine

Play the game. If I do my regular VIP missions and rare car selling and I play heists with my heist friends, I can make almost a million or over a million in a day.

But when other jobs require you to be part of a good team that can be the problem, when you're the vip you run the show and choose your team wisely.

Others have benefited from my yacht more than i have in terms of cash as i give mine away to lower ranks but in terms of fun i benefit greatly.

My yacht was gifted so its nice to gift back to less fortunate

I do dailys on two characters ($500,000 a week), do pac standard every so often with friends with the armored kuruma (a lot of money gained when you host), join finale invites or set ups before finale to do them, fleeca with a buddy, not spend money on things you might not want later, do vip work in invite only, abuse dupe glitches (I personally don't do them anymore), and that's all I can think of for making money in online.

And let's not forget to let the op in on VIP timer reset method.

Start hostile takeover when you have 5 minutes left of your VIP contract.

You can leave any time during the 30 minute timer.it doesn't have to be at the last few minutes like people claim.

After it says your VIP contract will expire after this job press start leave GTA online.

From story mode start invite only.

Once in invite only and the message " you are no longer a vip" shows up on the screen switch sessions.

4 more hours

Good thing I never spent a single dime on a Shark Card.

And I never will. I could care less about supporting your f*cking cookie cutter DLCs when corruption like this is rampant.

I never get into Free Roam battles, and if I do, I mostly end up dominating the person trying to kill me using the cheapest weapons. Seriously, How humiliating is it to get killed by the SNS Pistol with 1 shot?

Ok. None of that addresses my point that a yacht is a poor investment with the thought of financial return. You seem to be in a different situation, correct?

From two things, recovery ($500M) and money drops. I'm about $8-9M shy of $1.3B. I'll give a rough estimate, but I've probably made $50-75M in legit money.

I dumped it all into my 2nd account to avoid paying PV insurance. :p

-Heists, Criminal Master Mind nets +$12M

-Daily Objectives: 28 Days nets about $1.4M not counting money earned during each objective

-Playlists of races, DMs, Adversary Modes, Captures and the like

-VIP Work FTW!

-x2 money events

-Missions

-Farming rare sellable street cars like Gold Dubsta 2 or SandKings for example

-Cash Cards

-Glitches or a modded account, I draw the line at modded accounts and hope they get banned

Things to avoid, wasting resources in free roam fighting if it has nothing to do with VIP organization or Free Roam Challenge, don't buy everything that's released be a little f*cking selective. And don't regularly buy max ammo, set a round cap stick to it and pilfer corpses for extra ammo.

i made my legit riches out of heist, get a dedicated group of heisters and play heist...

i retired from glitching money, i was running out of money(10million) by the time heist update dropped.

fast forward 6months and i had over 140million, to this day i still have a balance of 130million+

making money is super easy, no reason for no one to be broke.

I will not buy a shark card, EVER. R* is continuing its war on fun. The rubber stamp dlc's are dropped on us only to generate cash card sales. Those sales generate 7-9 million real life $$ a month. At the same time easy ways to make money are nerfed.

- The chance that a yellow and blue sentinel spawns increases if you are driving one. You also have to be in an invite only session. If a lot of players are in the same lobby, the game will conserve memory by not spawning additional vehicles. The spawn area will not be refreshed if another player is present. You have to drive away to the south facade of Tinsel Towers to let the Eclipse intersection area to be regenerated. If you get a sentinel, store it to force spawn other sentinels.

- Check your daily objectives on both avatars. If you are lucky you can do the daily's on both characters.

- Get a good friend and do the fleeca job in succession.

So sell a car, 17 k$. Daily's 50 k$. Fleeca 100 k$. Sell a car, 17 k$. That is 175 k$ with some expenses off the bat. Or 150 k$ if you are not lucky.

Stay away from Benny's and the everlasting freeroam battles. Only buy properties and cars you intend to keep. Do not spam rockets and sticky's.

Get your ammo from a survival, gang attack or from a buddy's yacht.

As a day one player, I have everything I want. If you do not spend, money keeps piling up.

You can run several other vip work and have $0 invested in a yacht and still be "a never ending money spinner" as you put it. The rest has nothing to do with making money. I see this is going nowhere so I will avoid future replies and hope the OP and other readers realize the yacht is a poor investment.

Sounds like you have never been on a Yacht. For this I am sorry... if you are on Psn, add me, AlienTwo, and I'll have you over for drinks, a dip in the tub, star gazing and getting really really stoned. Also strippers will be there. You might get punched in the face, but live hard, party hard.

Here is a simple formula

Do you daily challenges every day. Do with two characters if possible. This will bring in $1.6M or

$3.2M per month alone.

Do missions until you hit $1M and then start VIP work. Grind it for as much time as you can.

Spawn and sell a sentinel xs every 48 minutes for another $14k-$17k.

Money will start rolling in super fast. Even if you play casual you should be making $200k a day.

Daily objectives like others have said makes $25,000 a day and if you do it everyday for a week it's $100,000 bonus every week and $500,000 bonus every month for doing them everyday and it's double that with 2 characters.

Non Fiction

It's easy. 1st thing is to not worry about making money. Play the game regularly while having fun and you will notice your account growing every day. 2nd you need to either "finale hop" or find competent people who know how to complete all heist setups & finales without dying. 3rd your not going to be able to make as much money NOW as a day1 player like me because all of the good 2x$ missions & heists are done for. Your best bet is to find some good players on the forum who are day 1 players that don't mind helping you out.

I usually just blast them in the face with a shotgun and take the cash but it was my weekly bonus so I thought I would do something a bit different.

all those thing people already mentioned, but maybe this also add to your bank account:

- i rarley use explosives, first this boum peng bamm is loud and second its expensive like ui ui ui.

- never buy armor (actually in heist you get one for free anyway)

- try not to blow up others cars.
