iDash
Hello everybody. First of all, I have no mods installed and I have a legit retail version of Grand Theft Auto V. So, here's my problem: I have played V a few days back. I have moved the folder to another hard drive to make space for IV and it's extensions [steam versions] on my SSD. I have played it for a few hours, got bored and uninstalled it again. I moved the V folder back to it's original place and now it refuses to start. I run PlayGTAV.exe as admin and it starts to download a 54.38 MB patch and after it's finished the launcher stops working. If I run it again, it repeats. Looks like this: I am worried that Steam did overwrite or delete any files needed for V to work properly (maybe some registry entrys?) when deleting IV. I have downloaded and installed RGSC from their site but it didn't change anything. At this point I miss Steam's option to verify game files... Does any of you know or suggest anything? I am ready to experiment as long as I don't have to re-download the whole 65 GB, that would take a week or so with my bandwidth. Also, sorry for my english.
