What weapons would you like to see in the next GTA game?

I want VI to feature realistic gore.

I want to take a machete and hack someone's face off, or an axe and whack their head off and play around with it like a basketball.

I want to take a flamethrower and go on a rampage burning nearby pedestrians to a crisp, or an electroshock weapon and zapping them all and hear their vibrating screams.

If I throw a grenade towards a crowd I expect to see the body parts flying in the air landing everywhere, blood splattering across the screen.

I want a nail gun that will send somebody flying towards the wall.

 

V was really boring in this regard.

It was so lame and toned down, at least in IV you could watch someone slowly die while moaning and groaning, in V there was nothing the peds were like dolls.

I wanted to see less weapons but with more upgradable options like in hitman, where we can upgrade our shotgun to be fully automatic equipped it with more magazines, suppresor etc, or more far zoom sniper telescope with night vision or thermal ability

 

Dual wielded pistols with an optional upgrade like rapid fire, scope, laser sight, suppressor, undetectable firearms upgrade for missions

 

Triple tracking homing missilies upgrades with an option to turn off the homing by pressing > so it can also act as an RPG

 

A versatile MG, where we can use it as a minigun with rapid fire and magazines upgrades complete with the larger ammo that can penetrate through vehicles (doors etc)

 

So less weapons but with more actual functions, also with tactical stiletto knife chainsaw, katana and more compact and foldable grenade launcher, where we can program it to fire 3 grenades at once by pressing >

 

another thing worth mentioning, the ability to take a rock or pen or any near objects to use it as weapons,

 

Also lockpicks, hacking gadget so we can explore the map through one buildings to another in missions like infiltrating army base or police station, and it can also be used to collect some objects to unlock new stuff, it will gives us more things to do man

 

A loadout would also be a nice addition, so we can only carry 1 large weapons, 1 side arms and a few explosives and gadgets, it will make the gameplay more interesting and challenging, and if we ran out of ammo, we can swap our weapons with the enemies weapons, it will be great and more interesting rather than pulling out an RPG out of our asses

A ceste. The device used in jai-alai to throw the ball with.

 

And for comedic entertainment, a whiffle ball bat and pool floaty log. It would be hilarious going around hitting people with those and knocking them down and seeing them kick and scream and grab at you to stop while inflicting no physical injuries, while hearing the hollow pinging sound of the bat or boofy sound of the floaty would never get old.

He suggested the Glock 23 .45 because the 1911 .45 only holds 7 shots in the mag. However, Para Ordinance has a 14 round 1911. My handgun of choice is USP .45 with 14 round extended mag. Submachine gun is Vector .45 at 1200 RPM.

Nowadays I don't care which specific gun it is, Glock or Beretta, but the diversity should make sense. 

 

In GTA V many weapons are obsolete. 

Who uses any other pistol than the AP pistol, when, especially online, enemies have lots of health/body armour? 

The AP pistol is also stronger and more accurate than the Uzi Smg or whatever it is supposed to be. 

 

The MP became totally obsolete since you can't shoot it while maneuvering your vehicle any more. 

 

Who uses any other shotgun than the two automatic ones? 

 

GTA 4 was so much better with weapons. 

 

Npc gangs had a diverse range of weapons. 

And there where two kinds which made sense. 

Pistol, high capacity, but weaker than the lower capacity combat pistol. 

Regular shotgun strong but slower and short range with spread, automatic shotgun weaker but longer range and faster. 

Etc

 

Melee in GTA V is a joke anyway and I can't see any diversity in the melee weapons.. There are so so many but they make no difference. 

 

GTA 4's knife and bat, they had differences. 

So, lesser weapons isn't a bad thing. 

They gotta be diverse in their stats like they shouldn't get obsolete

They are a ridicously chaotic weapon but I would love the flamethrower to come back. Nothing was more fun than chasing down a load of Triads / Haitans / Ballas down with a flame thrower and just burning your way through them. Taking gameplay from FarCry alone I think I rely on Flamethrowers a lot and they were always my go to heavy weapon in San Andreas and before I got the M60 in Vice City I'd rely on the flamethrower a lot

Balanced weapons. AP pistol ruled its category, heavy sniper its category, rpg/minigun its category, combat mg its category, sticky bombs its category.

 

An incentive to use other weapons would be great. AP pistol should have had a lot shorter mag or long reload time heavy sniper should only have one bullet in the mag and then a reload. Combat mg maybe recoil and explosive just please nerf the amount you can carry

 

Weapon balancing was sh*t so as soon as you get a certain weapon, all others were obsolete and a waste of time using them really.

 

Dual weapons- I would like dual sawned off shotguns and such. Dual smgs

 

Maybe rifle like a bolt action one. Flamethrower would be nice. 

 

I would like to be able to actually get into proper shootouts or drivebys for a change instead of just rolling up and throwing a sticky bomb and just detonating it. Or just boringly fire 20+ rocket rounds.

I’m not so heavy into the options of weapons but more so into the functionality and audio quality of the weapons to be sharply enhanced, along with combat elements.

 

Much like RDR2 I want my weapons to feel personal and weight bearing. I want them to bring on a sense of power and not so much of a tool. This would also mean gun combat would need to be sharply enhanced as well, probably engaging in a natural adrenaline mechanic when gun fire become heavy and excessive like Metal Gear Solid 3. Along with a fatigue system for holding up your gun for too long, taking on too many shots even in cover. Also hip fire/run and gun needs to be brought into a new dimension, not so much like MP3 or RDR2 but possibly a hybrid of the two. 
 

I want shots to not only be noticeable but more so on the spectrum of menacing, and brutal, causing emphatic shock to anyone in the vicinity echoing the percussion of the shot much further than in any other title, so much so that you as the player actually consider your choice of actually firing your weapon randomly. I want people genuinely screaming, some pissing their pants, some running so fast they begin to trip over their strides.

Ninja weapons. 

 

Other then that I want to be able to pick up random objects off of tables/the ground, etc to use. Like If I run over a sign let me be able to pick the metal pole and swing at somebody with it. 

 

Let me throw a tire at somebody or whatever else. 

 

I'd like to be able to set traps like that people could either fall for or figure out how to get whatever it is without being tricked by it.

I think it would be perfect to do like GTA IV and GTA SA. I would also like that weapons have to be buy or found at different location. Regular weapons should be in Ammunations, melee weapons should be picked up somewhere, and illegal weapons should be found in dealers shops, kind of like Emmet from GTA SA or GTA IV illegal gun shops, instead of being able to buy everything from Ammunation...
