dionkoffie
Hello. I've been trying to put some 3d designed (with 3Dmax) objects into the game. I need these objects for an ingame house building script. I have a couple problems regarding the objects. Whenever I put them ingame they end up in a different spot than I want it to be. This is how I made it in 3dmax: and this is how it ends up ingame: As you can see the center of the wall crosses the line. It should stay within the square. I tried moving the object in 3dmax, but that doesn't seem to work. I can move it anywhere I want in 3dMax, but the position doesn't change ingame. The .col is at its correct position, so the only thing that I don't understand is that the .dff doesn't 'follow' the .col. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Any help would be highly appreciated. ZAZ
import a original simple object from game to use it's axis center, insert your object, convert it to editable mesh, select vertice mode and place the meshon center of object from gamethen delete mesh of object from gameand then give propper object names make also a collisions model, when object is ready for export and you got your dff file use 3dmax export function and export model as *.3ds then use CollisionsEditor II and import 3ds by menue button "ADD" and change the need filetype check the object in MapEditor after placement in gamefiles select the object then a red qube shows the border of the collisions model check the collisions model extra view via IDE window CLEO MODS CLEO Script Tutorial
