"Checking your text for profanity" notice hangs

I don't want to start a long thread about what's considered profane, and I don't have a problem refraining from profanity, but, is this a known bug? The above notice hangs, flashing at the bottom right corner of the screen *indefinitely* (after texting another player) until you exit the game. Does anyone know if the text message was actually sent?

 

Another player (a new player) was trying to interact with me and it was awkward because he was talking (I think) and I don't have a headset... So, I texted him the message:

 

"I need headset, lol".

 

Anyway, the above profanity notice popped up and I don't think he received my message, so after a couple minutes I just walked away. I continued playing the game for an hour or so, and the profanity notice remained flashing on my screen...

 

(I suppose, if my text excluded the sub-word "set", my message would have a whole different meaning, but I can't imagine that triggering the hangup)...?

If you send another message it will cancel the profanity notice.

 

I still find it sill that in an adult game where you can hire a hooker, go to a strip club, murder, sell drugs and so on...

 

..but you can't spell a naughty word into your phone.

tried to send someone the message "jet jet rpg jet" and it wouldn't let me.

glitcher, cheat and you suck also seem to not be alowed

It's a major pain in the arse , sometimes you risk your life punching out a message only for it to get stuck withbthat message about being checked , it def does not get sent so I give it a few seconds and if if important message have to type again ,

If you use smartglass app on your phone it alot easier to type and your less vulnerable cos your not bin pause menu

I cant even use my crews name in VIP organisation name or via texts! ....DAMN is a apparently a terrible profanity in a game where i can spend all day burning people alive and running over them

...not to mention the NPC texts can call you motherf*cker etc
