What i think is from the beginning make all customisation (dial,interior,ornaments ,....) available for all cars in the games ,and not for few models where is mandatory to transform it in lowriders(with tiny wheels) to access those customisations .Some people feel biased.

Everyone's getting caught up on which cars go to Benny's and I think they're missing the forest for the trees. Lowriders & Benny's isn't the problem. Rockstar's lack of major DLC is the problem (TLDR).

 

More car customization is always a nice feature to have. I think Benny's level of customization should be standard for a majority of cars in the game. Theoretically Benny's could have upgrades specific to that car, similar to their strategy with the Banshee 900R. Maybe one could put a landau roof on a Washington, put a lift-kit on the Sadler or make a hi-po version of the Oracle. The idea of Benny's is good. The problem is that it seems to be the only idea Rockstar has right now other than adversary modes.

 

The best way to build interest in GTA is with new gameplay. Heists did this. Freemode Events did this, VIP did this and it still keeps people interested today. The original lowrider update even had it's own set of missions to accompany the cars, giving the customizations a deeper sense of purpose. Because it followed Ill Gotten Gains and was later surpassed by Executives and Other Criminals, people could appreciate Lowriders as a new and different aspect of the game. The conventional wisdom was that Rockstar would continue to provide new and different DLC to expand the game further. Fast-forward to today and Rockstar has not done that.

 

Benny's was always a one trick pony. Sure you could add new cars to it, but there's only so much mileage they can get out of car customization alone. Getting online and customizing cars is not the sole reason people have interest in Grand Theft Auto Online. So while it is technically new and technically different, it doesn't really expand the game further. Adversary modes are mere flashes in the pan for a playerbase that doesn't need a push or a nudge to get interested in PvP. Especially when you consider that some of Rockstar's latest evolved from player created jobs. For Rockstar to rely on Benny's and Adversary modes as a means to build interest in the game is asinine. You know it, I know it, they know it.

 

GTA Online is now 2.5 years old. At some point in GTAO's lifetime, the game was inevitably going to get boring, stale, "played out", etc. At some point, GTA VI and other Rockstar properties have to be a priority. Rockstar needs to keep GTA Online alive today so people will continue to play GTA Online tomorrow. This is the balancing act for the powers that be.

 

Their current strategy is to use the absolute lowest common denominator to keep people interested. In this case, that's Bennys/Adversary modes. But who's to say that if Rockstar stopped doing Benny's they wouldn't just fart out something else that's equally insignificant? Stilt houses would lose their allure just as quick as they come. Releasing VIP outfits or adding a new vehicle (aerial or otherwise) wouldn't keep players interested for long either. We'd just be right back here, but in a different thread from a different OP. Rockstar needs to do something major. Until that happens, the player-base will not be satisfied regardless.

I love the RS/900R, but I think seperating tuners into a different garage would have been a good idea.

I think the feeling now is just that.

 

More bennys and adversary modes are just slowly piling up. Both of which are basically a few hours of fun at the most before they become boring and players revert back to their daily routines.

None of the above. Bennies could be relevant until the very end but it's very important that other car / vehicle types are included and that updates are frequent. I'm not going to complain about prices as they are what they are.

I would still love Slamvan level customization on something such as the hotknife or ratloader. Or do up the elegy rh8 or penumbra as tuners. Or even the Merryweather Mesa or Sandking or Rebel even more off-road style. If anything, they need to expand the Bennys concept to other cars. Give us something to spend our money on make our own.

I think we need an update where fun vehicles are added.

Here's a few examples of what i mean.

 

 

A Monkey bike, Imagine a gang of people riding around on these causing chaos!

 

A 3 wheeled car like the Reliant Robin, Imagine the fun you could have in a car that will tip over if turning too fast!

 

A Motortrike, We've got every kind of motorcycle, But no Motortrikes! This is a crime in itself.

I think you should be able to modify any storable vehicle at Bennie's. Race version, low rider, donk, tuner even choppers for cars/bikes.

i hate how much it costs to repair a bennys car even if it's a scuff mark 3 grand, seems fair. i can respray a car for less than that.
