Is there any way to keep the AP/EC Stretch and pass the mission? I've tried a couple of methods, but they don't seem to work, at the end my game always crashes.

Nope. You can't keep that and pass the Mission. When you go into the blue marker at Joey's Garage, the Stretch won't be there and Claude will just be standing there. GTAKid667 actually confirmed this on PC and Mobile. Only way is to fail the Mission to get it and only way to fail the Mission is driving it into the water slightly and back out again.

But I don't know why you'd need to do that. When I made the Cheetah converted to DP, I immediately took it to SSV as a Ghost. All you do is drive through Porter Tunnel. Since it's a Ghost, it can drive through the barrier in Portland blocking the tunnel...

 

Basically ALL of the Portland Vehicles in the beginning should be going to SSV immediately...Including the AP/EC Stretch. The only one that doesn't go there is the BP/FP Trashmaster and that goes to SI...

Afterall, there is Videos for all of this stuff in the Guide, there is Photos, too. How hard can it be to remember to do such tasks? If you're getting 13, there is only a couple ways to do this...

Duping mission can't be a solution. Even though formally it's possible to pass the mission this way, since mission is duped, it adds two attempts to stats. In best case scenario you add two into mission passes stat (allowing 74 out of 73 missions), but this is hardly the true way of "no mission failures" in my opinion.

 

On other hand, starting mission during an oddjob that doesn't affect mission attempts stat could be a solution. Most interesting case is trying to retrieve Trashmaster from Blowfish using instapass strat. It would work perfectly, adding 1 mission attempt to stats, but unfortunately Trashmaster despawns instantly after second mission copy is passed, which happens right after mission pickup. I only managed to get it only using teleport to prevent it from despawning. The same would happen to Salvatore's Called a Meeting, which is instapassed by taxi driver. I also tried using oddjob missions for other special vehicles that require mission failure, but game always crashed. I would recommend testing it further though. General strats for it would be:

1) Get in Ambulance, hold submission button, enter mission marker, release submission button. That can either crash the game or dupe mission adding only 1 mission attempt.

2) Get in Taxi, start Taxi Driver and rampage, start holding submission button before rampage fails, wait for rampage to fail, exit taxi, start a mission. This may crash the game or start a normal instance of a mission plus a mission from the middle or end (like Blowfish instapass). This is less likely but possible to retrieve a special vehicle and pass a mission for 1 attempt.

3) Get in police vehicle, start Vigilante+rampage, end rampage, start mission. Consequences are similar to 2)

 

Option 1 is most likely to produce a dupe costing 1 mission attempt. Unfortunately I got crashes for everything in Portland.

P.S.: It should be noted that 1) kills Paramedic 2) kills Taxi Driver and 3) kills Vigilante forever if executed without crash.

More likely that it was pink, but I mean different way of duping - not starting Vigilante during Salvatore's Called a Meeting, but, for example, starting Salvatore's Called a Meeting during Vigilante. If it worked, it would be done in 1 attempt. Method you most likely mention still requires a mission failure, although this text doesn't appear on screen.

Yeah, I believe he got it with failing the Mission and duplicating the Mission. No sense there considering it doesn't need any of the sort to get it with the Mission Failure. You just use the Linerunner to jump into Joey's Garage. It's really easy...

 

If anyone knows of a way to get the Mission Failure Vehicles with passing the Mission and less Attempts than 78 in the Stats, I am all ears. It's always interesting to learn about this stuff...

There really is nothing to it. I've been using the same Garage Layout for both times I did it on Mobile and 3 times I did it on PS2...

 

Where you see the AP Cheetah? Well, way back when, I was able to put the EC Securicar where you see it parked and even that fit fine...If I can jam another Securicar in there, then you shouldn't be having an issue with the Cheetah putting there. There is nothing to it, really. Notice, though...It's sticking out of the Garage slightly. This is ok and it won't vanish. Looks like you parked yours too far in and that is why the Stretch is tilted upward like that...

The thing is, that if I park the Cheetah like in your picture, it will start to bounce around everytime I'll open the garage. This will mess up the position of the Cheetah AND the other vehicles too.

I tried again, and when I closed my garage and opened it again, it disappeared.

Ah, yeah, that does happen on both my PS2 and iOS Save, too. However, if you walk up very, very slowly to the Garage, it prevents that from happening more or less of the time. If you quickly run on foot, fast right up to the Garage that will happen. Even if the Stretch is messed up, it's nothing to worry about since it's DP. All the Vehicles in there will be DP but the Corpse Manana and BP/FP Securicar. Even with the Stretch like that, it still can be taken out, as well as all Vehicles. You should save, reload, and then try and take them out. If you can get them out, then it doesn't really matter how they are parked...

It's tough using the car thieves for making a ghost vehicle, I don't understand how are you supposed to do it, when I try to jack it back, the button won't appear (since it's a Ghost vehicle now), but in @Fooking Rekt s video, it does...

As soon as the magnet touches the car you need to enter it again. When the thief drove off before the magnet touched it, you let him steal your car too early, and when you pull him out before the magnet touches the vehicle you stole it too fast too. It's kinda trucky to time well sometimes.

Nah, doesn't work on iOS. Already said this the day I posted the new Photos of my III iOS Save. Used all Mission Passengers. Thieves don't work on iOS anymore...The button has nothing to do with it. I've made it a Ghost, but Claude doesn't get back into it, since it's in Ghost form. If you exit a Ghost, you can't get back in. Thief just drives away with it and it's gone. Doesn't work...And no, I am not doing it wrong, since I was using it 6 months ago in my OLD Save with 79 Attempts. I used Thieves AFTER 100% to make the 3 EC Sports Cars converted to DP. So I surely know what I am doing since I did it 3 times. Doesn't work now, though...

 

This is why I write what I write. It's up to someone to read it. If they don't read it, and skip all the Scripted Passenger Missions, then it's their own fault. All the information is out there. Use it...

 

As the magnet is lifting the Car, you SHOULD be able to jack it back, but Claude goes to touch the Vehicle, it drops back down to the ground, but he can't jack it back since it's a Ghost. It's Patched on iOS...Doesn't matter since the Mission Passengers are easy to use and are probably more reliable anyways...No timing nothing...

Minding that, either passengers or prostitutes are far more reliable. Not that I'm dismissing the car thieves as an option, but why bother?

There is only so many Scripted Passengers, so having access to Car Thieves, even after 100% is beneficial. If it wasn't for them, my OLD Save would of had 4 Vehicles NOT converted to DP, but because I was allowed to use it after 100%, I was able to make 3 of the 4 converted to DP. This time however, as early as obtaining the Cheetah from Turismo, I tried for 45 minutes to get it to work and it didn't. So from that point on, I just relied on Scripted Passengers. But this is also tricky to work with. More Special Vehicles to exist that can be made into DP and not enough Scripted Passengers, thus making the playthrough even harder. Not to mention, it seems like it potentially glitch the game which happened to me during Deal Steal. I was able to get SIX Pink Dots on my Minimap that never disappeared and thehambone had to fix it for me. This happened since I made FOUR Vehicles DP during this Mission using the guy you take to the Hospital Parking Lot to retrieve the Brief Case from the Colombians. Falling through Blue Hell with him in my Ghost Vehicle seemed not very good. Getting out of the Yardie Lobo to get into my Special Vehicles to make DP also didn't seem good. Always a message "You Need to Be in a Yardie Lobo for This Mission" would come up, but then eventually it stopped. Every time I exited the Yardie Lobo, Pink Dot removed. Every time I entered it, Pink Dot came back. But eventually, the Pink Dot stayed there and duplicated 6 times when I got back into a Yardie Lobo...

 

I used Kanbu Bust Out for 2 Vehicles and that worked, but when I fell through Blue Hell, the passenger would be gone and actually was teleported to the Shoreside Vale Lift Bridge on the SI Side, thankfully. If he spawned on the other side, I wouldn't of been able to get him back in the Vehicle to pass the Mission.

 

I used Rumble to make the Patriot BP/DP and when I fell through Blue Hell, the Nine that was with me vanished. I killed all those guys with the Baseball Bat completely Solo. That guy was just "gone" as if he didn't exist for the Mission.

 

So this is why Car Thieves, despite being tricky to use since it needs to be timed perfectly, is recommended, since it has NOTHING TO DO with Missions, which could become glitched by using the Passenger in the Mission. Everything worked out, but Deal Steal glitched my Minimap forever with 6 Pink Dots in the SAME spot. Looked like 1 Dot, but it was 6 on top of each other all from entering/exiting the Yardie Lobo so much and falling through Blue Hell with the Ghost Vehicle. You NEED to do this, though, so it shrinks in size and can be put into the Garage. With it so big, you won't be able to get it into the Garage and have the Garage Door close on it.

 

Also, Hookers NEVER worked for GTA III. They only work in LCS since they don't leave your Vehicle. III, they leave the Vehicle and walk away the moment you get out at the Crusher. Thieves WANT your Vehicle, thus they don't leave. Scripted Passengers are scripted to be with you, so again, they stay with you.

Damn! Is the mobile version messed up that bad? No offense, but what the hell? One would think that by the time the Mobile version was released, Rockstaar would for once not make the game "better"

What pisses me off is my Games on my Phone seem to update without my knowledge. If I was able to play the Version I bought in Summer 2015, I'd be happy, but my Game has updated randomly several times after I bought it, which apparently f*cked me over and something was patched. CHAFIKO has iOS and just downloaded it for the first time a week ago or so and has the problem I have. It's definitely the Version I have, which is the latest Patch. This same bullsh*t happens in the HD Era. Patches f*ck sh*t up. It's been like this since September 2013 when V was released. After buying V and updating the game not once, but around 12 times, I noticed with each Patch, something else went wrong. What did I do. DELETE, DELETE, DELETE. Removed the bullsh*t from my PS3 and went back down to Version 1.00. V1's are always the best in my case. Everything on Playstation is V1 for me, including the HD GTA's since I can disable the Internet on my PS3. I hate the new Ports and Mobile since sh*t goes broken all the time. One playthrough it will work, the next playthrough it won't all cuz of Patches...

 

Meanwhile, isn't a patch supposed to actually fix something? Instead of breaks another aspect of the game.

 

It's why I don't take Mobile as serious as PS2. All my main, "Trophy Saves" are done on PS and Mobile is just for fun on the side. I try to do what I do on PS2 on Mobile, but there is always problems and things going wrong. Games crash a lot on Mobile, too, which makes you save more often, running up Safehouse Visits and Total Playing Time, etc, etc. Can't do a lot in a row due to crashing and/or battery life, too. It's just not a very good Platform to play on, imo. If it's you ONLY option, then ok, but if someone has the ability to buy a Console or play them on PC, I'd pick those over Mobile any day. I mainly wanted Mobile GTA's and specifically SA due to the AP Sultan being exclusive there, but now you can obtain it every Platform/Version. There is even an AP Conversion in SA now that works on all Platforms. You've been gone awhile. Tons of new things found...Even for LCS/VCS...

No game is without its flaws. The patches are there to correct these flaws. But as it turned out with Rockstar (mainly over the course of the last 5 yeears), the patches, instead of making the game flawless, make it "flawlessly flawed".

That's exactly how I feel. War Drum Studios is actually responsible for III, VC, SA and possible CW for Mobile, whereas Lucid Games is responsible for LCS on Mobile. LCS and CW are the only 2 Ports in which seem to work the most for me, whereas I have a lot of problems in III, VC, and SA when the games update, etc...

 

It's why I liked having access to Thieves working...It was possible to do in free roam, like it was possible to use the Taxi Trick in free roam at any stage of the game to make a DP Vehicle, too...

Man, I really need to get my EC Black Rumpo to SSV IMMEDIATELY, the problem is that the garage won't close properly, which means I need to use another vehicle to force close it, and I'm afraid if I somehow gets near it and forget to grab a vehicle to force close it, my 3 precious vehicles will disappear..。・゜・(ノД`)・゜・。

I used Kanbu Bust Out to make the Rumpo and Barracks OL converted to DP...

 

SI never closes for me...Fooking Rekt has it close, but mine never closes on PS2 or iOS. I force close it by getting in a 7th Vehicle...You can also run away from the Garage while keeping the camera on it...It'll close when you get far away from it, but as long as you have the camera on it, the Vehicles won't vanish. If the Trashmaster is jammed in the back with the Barracks OL as far back as it goes with the Rumpo temporarily in SI Garage until Kanbu Bust Out, then you are fine. It's not gonna disappear...

 

Also, you can make a backup of your Save, or save in a different Slot if you get nervous...

I give up on getting my Rumpo DP, EC is enough for me. I'll go and glitch it trough the ground, much more easier.

I don't see an issue. You can even leave the guy from Kanbu Bust Out and go to SSV yourself to store the Ghosted Rumpo to make it DP/EC, then get back to SI to grab the BP Barracks OL and then go pick up the passenger again (which will actually have teleported onto the SSV Lift Bridge on the SI Side when you leave him at the Crusher and drive away in the Ghost Rumpo) and chop the door off the Barracks OL and make it DP. Take it back to the SI Garage with the passenger, store it, then get another Vehicle and take him back to Kenji's to pass the Mission. You can also leave a random Vehicle in memory at the SI Garage so when you store the Barracks OL, you can force close the Garage immediately while looking directly at it when you get into the Vehicle you left in memory, right in front of the Garage, thus watching the Garage close down on the Trashmaster and Barracks OL right in front of you. Nothing will disappear...

 

These are all things you need to think about. Doing it on Mobile makes you think outside of the box. I doubt anyone will make 4 Vehicles converted to DP at the same time and pass the Mission like I did. If you're already having problems, then what will you do with the 3 EC Sports Cars or the Bobcat? Not gonna make them DP, either? Kanbu Bust Out and making 2 Vehicles DP is easy. Doing it later on, as you don't have many more chances at this point, is just making things harder on yourself and I guarantee it won't only be the Rumpo you don't make DP. It'll probably be a lot more...

It's incredibly frustrating trying to store it in the SSV garage, and when I try to do it, two things will happen:

One, the Rumpo will start to bounce around for no reason whatsoever and send me back to the tunnel by sinking trough the floor.

 

Two, I luckily manage to get the Rumpo inside the garage at the right place, but some REASON one of my cars DISAPPEARS. First, it was the AP Cheetah, second time it was the AP/EC Stretch, third time it was the Unique Dead Skunk In The Trunk Manana...

My Rumpo kept getting stuck in the ground, too. One time I exited the Rumpo, it fell into Blue Hell and disappeared. Had to reload and do it all over. But this is what Special Vehicles are all about. Staying persistent and determined to get them all and all of them in their ultimate form with adding DP to the lot. When I got that Rumpo, I had the passenger with me and was very annoying. One time he stayed in the Ghost Rumpo, Garage closed on it, Mission Failed! You're Man Died! From closing the Garage on him while he was still inside the Rumpo somehow killed him. It's not just you having problems since I did, too, but I still was able to manage this stuff in the coming tries. I spent a couple hours f*cking around with these Scripted Passengers and trying to get it to work. Finally...Got it to work and the Save is done. The achievement payed off...

 

I didn't have any issues with Vehicles disappearing, but storing the damn Rumpo was a pain in the ass for me. One time I successfully made it DP after being a Ghost, but the Rumpo was literally stuck in the ground inside the Garage and sparks were flying everywhere. It would of blew up if it wasn't DP. It took a couple hours to finally get it to work and have everything work out. Deal Steal was the worst, though, since I had to make FOUR Vehicles DP and pass the Mission unlike making TWO Vehicles DP during Kanbu Bust Out. Plus, the 4 I made DP during Deal Steal were the 3 EC Sports Cars and BP/EP/FP Bobcat, all of which go in the SI Garage while having the BP/DP Barracks OL and BP/FP Trashmaster already inside there. Luckily, I could use the EMPTY Portland Garage to change from Ghost Vehicle to DP Vehicle and then drive the SOLID Vehicle back to SI and store it, then grab another and continue. Driving the Ghost back to SI wouldn't work, since you need the Bobcat on top of one of the EC Sports Cars like in my Photos. I am telling you, some of this stuff isn't easy and needs a lot of patience to do it.

 

Doing what you're doing will probably just make you now have to do another Playthrough in the future. Always happens to me in my case. If I f*cked something up, or know I can improve, I always NEED to do it over. This is just setting you up to do it over. I won't need to do it over since I got all 13, fully converted, and the Save is done. Also with 78 Attempts. Before I had 79 and the Barracks OL wasn't DP. Now I got this stuff how I want, thus no reason to do it over on PS2 or iOS.

 

EDIT: The Rumpo will bounce like that if the wheels are touching the Cheetah. When it's a Ghost, the wheels are still solid, but the body of the Vehicle is a Ghost. After driving through Porter Tunnel with the Ghost Rumpo try and tip the Rumpo over close by the Safehouse. When you respawn back on land, the Rumpo will be normal size again. You may be having problems if the Rumpo is too large. It grows in size when it's a Ghost before putting it into the Garage. Btw, since your Portland Garage is empty (should be), you could also make the Rumpo DP using the Garage and then sink it below the ground and try to get it to SSV when it's already DP/EC...Anything is worth a try if you're having problems...
