Can't play on my save - GTA SA STEAM

I install a mod on GTA SA and the game brokes, so I check integrity in Steam.

When finished, I start the game and my save appears, but when I click to play, start another save.

Help, I will not download other save I want MY save

Are there any residual files from the mods in your game folder?

Did you try deleting My Documents/GTA San Andreas User Files/gta_sa.set?

If all else fails, try deleting/backing up the game folder and redownloading the game.

You can not install mods in SA steam version. Use a good downgrader and downgrade SA to US 1.0 version.

 

As per fixing the game. Go to your APPDATA and delete the GTA SA folder. The game will work fine.

I remove my saves from GTA SA user files and delete it. (Delete the User files, not the saves)

After I unistall GTA and install again, so I put my saves in the new GTA SA User Files and now the game not open.

 

And yes you can install mods in steam version of the game, before I put GTA 5 HUD and f*ck the game, I have 10 mods of graphics, shadows and vehicles and all work correctly.

Which type of the mod you installed that caused the problem.

And try this-

Move sa saves to another location and delete user files. Now start a new game and save it. Now just move your save file(only one) to sa user files and load that save and see if it loads.

Your description matches a save compatibility error - your current scripts don't match the script used in the save. You can swap out your script versions or, if it's a v1 to v2 issue, convert the save using the tools at GTASnP.com.
