TOGA62 Posted January 20, 2003 Share Posted January 20, 2003 Ok I just went and looked at the movie over and over again and I am almost 100% sure that it isnt a dog. Here is why. While I repeativly watched it I noticed that the object that is suppose to be the dog doesnt move. you can tell because even though there is a cab that goes past that seems to block it you can still see the object through the window and the man too and only the man is moving. then a few frames later the man seems to be running towards the object. you can tell because it shows a few frames where he seems to be walking then his arms start swinging more like he is running. It also appears that he is running towards the object while the object doesnt move at all. From what I see it looks like maybe it could be a man dead on the ground. If so then it would make sence that the other man is running towards him because that is what the peds do when someone is shot or run over. (that or run away). If you look at the vabbies passing by you will notice that the Kaufman Cabs signature isnt on it. They must have changed the Cabbies to Kaufman Cabs after and started an asset for it. But tell me one game that lets you walk up to a dog being walked by it's owner and lets you put two in it's cranium. Point is, the dogs you can shoot in recent video games are usually(sp?) in the mind frame to tear a few pounds off your ass. There was an interview with R* a while back which is probably linked to this site. I'd find it but am too lazy too and you have the capabilities of friggin finding it anyway, so do it. Anywho, Children and animals were brought up in this interview and the R* rep replied along the lines of "children and animals have nothing to do with the content of the game, and giving the players the ability to kill them isn't fun or funny." It's not verbatum, but you get the gist. Now, whether or not that is a dog, I guess we'll never agree, especial since that picture has a relatively small res, so lets all agree to disagree.
