Craigsters
I miss it a great deal, they was supposed to be over 240 unique dialog conversions with varies NPC's throughout the game, but that was bugged and I only ever had 200 conversions because some NPC's where hard to find or never appeared where the wikia's indicated or showed images of where you'd find them in game, the cut scenes where the best in the game and Tony's lines too!.. I remember the shark attacks if you where in the water to long, the vehicles where awesome in the game and I remember the chase mission to get audio tapes from a informant or bad agent, that was super hard, but managed it a few playthrough's sense I finished the game a dozen times or more, owe keeping the guy alive in the club was hard too, you had to be quick and shoot the bad guys quickly well running with the guy you had to protect or escort out safely!.. 018361
I just got a copy of this for PC. Even with 3d ripper and setting the game to one core I still can't get it to work right. Femme Fatale
I love this game, it's a shame you can't kill civilians ... I especially loved Sex Beat by The Gun Club, and El Caiman by Bobby Valentine...I was disappointed that you couldn't buy any live tigers, that one cutscene is misleading... 018361 and Copcaller
Algonquin Assassin
God I hope this game gets a remaster along with The Godfather. Movie to video game adaptions rarely seem to work, but Scarface was pulled off masterfully IMO. So much so I think it even beats Vice City in ways. It was so awesome drug smuggling from what I can remember and decking out Tony's mansion with goodies. D9fred95
It was so awesome drug smuggling from what I can remember and decking out Tony's mansion with goodies. I never got to fully experience pimping out the mansion with decorations sadly since I was always paranoid that they'd disappear. That was on the PS2 when decorations would disappear after a period of time. I ended up losing the Modern Art, Authentic Spacesuit and Genghis Khan Armor since they could only be bought once. I got mine to work by using ThirteenAG's Fix Here: https://thirteenag.github.io/wfp#latest_updates If you try it and it doesn't work try moving your game out of program files then run the Scarface.bat file. That's how I got mine to work. Mister Pink, DEALUX and Sunrise Driver
Mister Pink
Excellent. I might try it. It's been so long since I had the orignal install files and I don't know how I did what I did. Do I still have to disable the other cores thingymajig and run the thing on single core? I'm a PC retard, console whore. DEALUX
Nope. On my end, if I do that the frame rate is all over the place. Make sure the game is running on all of your cores to get the best performance. Perhaps the game would work better with hyperthreading disabled. Some games (like GTA IV) benefit from that somewhat. 018361 and Mister Pink 2 The Audiophile Thread XB271HU | TESORO Gram XS | Xtrfy MZ1 | Xbox Elite v2 | Hifiman Sundara | Fiio K9 Pro i7 4790K 4.4 GHz | GTX 1080 Ti | 32 GB Crucial DDR3 | ADATA 256GB | Samsung 860 PRO 2TB Xbox | Xbox 360 | Xbox Series X | PS2 | PS3 | Google Pixel 6 Pro
018361
Just like what Kristian had said you won't need to do that annoying one core thing and restart your computer constantly. It works with all your cores enabled. Mister Pink

018361
I heard about that because I had asked ThirteenAG if there was anyway for me to run my game in 2560x1440p and he told me about that but I haven't tried it yet. However if you do that and get it to work is there any way that you could upload a video of it to YouTube or something? Because I would really like to see it. DEALUX
1440p should work since the game apparently supports 1600p as a maximum resolution. Unfortunately I won't be getting a 4K monitor until December most likely. 018361 1 The Audiophile Thread XB271HU | TESORO Gram XS | Xtrfy MZ1 | Xbox Elite v2 | Hifiman Sundara | Fiio K9 Pro i7 4790K 4.4 GHz | GTX 1080 Ti | 32 GB Crucial DDR3 | ADATA 256GB | Samsung 860 PRO 2TB Xbox | Xbox 360 | Xbox Series X | PS2 | PS3 | Google Pixel 6 Pro

RussianCommie
I loved this game on the PS2. A lot of fun memories with this game and I loved it. The soundtrack, the gameplay, It actually was pretty good for what It was and I bet the game is still fun today. The amount of rage that I let out for the U-Gin Shotgun Bar mission to be able to buy the place was too much. It was the mission where you had to snipe a guy in a boat, and to find him, you had to look for someone wearing a certain color hat and jacket. To add to the challenge, the boat was moving and If you missed the first time, the guy would speed up and you have to hurry to make the shot again. D9fred95
A small detail, but has anyone noticed all the cars that Tony can buy are all unique in some way compared to the versions you can find on the street. The MPD Cruiser for example has are dark panel under the door that normal MPD Cruisers don't have. The Mojave is a shade of blue that normal Mojave's don't have, the Panther is dark green with a different rear end and the Santa Monica has that "Montana" style thing going on. They all have something that makes them different which really brings out the concept of them being "exotics". J-B
This game has been in my collection since it released, and I've put a lot of hours into it. It still sits on my shelf, even though I have no means of playing it anymore. It was an underrated game that tried a lot cool elements; some good, and some bad. The madden style kick meter definitely should not have been so prevalent in the game.
--Vega--
It was a fun game to 100% a few times, but it got very repetitive after a while. Also, there is close to nothing to do after the main story. At least the drug deals and hitting the bars right kept you on the edge of your seat.

Claude4Catalina
Well this game is the third iteration of Scarface, the 83 Brian De Palma flick is a remake of a 1932 film of the same time set in Chicago. So for there to be a remake of the game which is a different interpretation of the movie which a remake...along with a remake of a remake, we're stepping into remake-ception territory here! This game was a great way to waste a summer holiday one year, really worth the time investment to earn money and buy lavish sh*t for the mansion. A balls out jolly that actually did make it feel good to be gangster. Devdevi45, Effy in Chains and feckyerlife
