Anyone ever watched a whole movie at the theater?

I have never entered a cinema in GTA5 and in real life, I'm a film junkie. Go figure.

I guess sometimes with limited gaming time, I have to squeeze in the important stuff like DM'ing.

 

But the next time I get some killer bud, I will check out the cinemas in the game.

Yes, but unfortunately its always that spanish movie. The first time I watched I was fine then thats all the movie theater ever played, After that it drove me mad. Good thing though is that I can calm myself down by going out to hunt.

I only go to the movies if it's my daily objective. Even then, I leave immediately as soon as I get in the theater.

The movies are well worth a watch... they all last 10 minutes maximum, so it's hardly going out of your way to watch them.

 

However this is a completely missed opportunity. They could have made it, like people said above, where they add the best community videos from YouTube to the cinemas. It would be great to go watch them and discover new videos that people have made, and would reward those people in a big way.

 

Also don't know why Rockstar didn't make any new films for the cinema by now. Lots of posters for movies all around the city but we never get to see them. They went to the trouble of making cinemas and movies in the game, then only added 3x 10 minute videos to it, and then just forgot about it ???

 

Seems a shame to me.We got special T-Shirts with movie names on, but can't go watch them at cinema?

 

I shouldn't be surprised though, they still haven't managed to get all the single player vehicles into online, and they are already in the game for gods sake !!

The ingame movie theatre was a seriously big missed opportunity. They should have implemented a "weekly movie" type of deal where they would choose a rockstar edited movie to be available to watch.

 

Why stop at moves? Maybe the TV could stream channels which are actually player created content sent to the Social club Rockstar editor page,

I don't know why it's getting so much adversity here, but my favourite film is definitely the french/spanish one. I absolutely LOVE it. The other two are ok, but not something I'd return to the theatre for. I'd say the cinema is worth a couple of visits to see all the films at least once.

I have watched the one with the monkey invasion until the end.

Sometimes I wish they would add some User Created Rockstar Editor vids in the Cinema, that would be really f*cking cool in my opinion as some Users really know how to create small Stories within the context of GTA Online that look cool as well.

The one with the Monkey Invasion is named The Simean, it's just a trailer though.

The rest of your suggestion is dope, but R* would have to spend some money to make it happen and we all know how they like to do that.

 

I sat through the three movies already, didn't liked none of them, too much parody for my taste and I rather make my own fun in the game or just go to the movies in real life.

I'm waiting until someone finds a new wall breach into the movie theater. Never got to do that one on PS3. You could climb inside and run around the movie theater while the movie was playing. I forget if you could shoot or not.

But I'm waiting for that.

I've seen all the movies. Favorite is definitely the Loneliest Robot in Great Britain. Meltdown is good and I don't mind watching. The worst movie is Capolavoro, I always leave when I find out it is on. I once actually forced myself to watch it and I wasted my time. Overall, it is a fun experience to do every now and then. I've only been to 2 out of the 3 theaters.
