The link you provide, I was listening to those unused audios and the Rub Out unused dialogues are pretty interesting! I mean Tommy screaming ''Lance!'' and Lance saying ''Go on Tommy, I'll be ok!'' Was lance supposed to get hurt during the mission?

^ Probably when Lance's health goes down to 10% and the game will program that Lance will rest and not moving because he's severly hurt and that means that Tommy has to fight Diaz by yourself which adds extra challenge to you when facing Diaz and his goons.

 

Anyway, did this update fixed "The Job" crash and the Haitian sniper sound (SnipSCRL) at "Cannon Fodder"?

wanted to say that the unused audio for Spilling the Beans (Printworks mission 1) are supposed to represent the Vice City Triad that are mentioned as owning the ship with the plates... I wonder if they have unused models for them ingame

 

also unused strip club music is on the PS2 version of Vice City. its for the Private dances... trust me on this, I know its there. Song is from More Bounce to the Ounce by Zapp & Roger, its on Wildstyle FM

I dunno. At least, I didn't crash in that mission (anyone else?). As for the Haitian sniper sound, no, not yet. Keep it at the original WAV..

I have a suggestion, how about to release separated version of scm without MC Tommy outfit.

Oh! and i have idea you can change the text from "Mission failed" to "Mission over" when you turn off pizza mission and also if you could fix this bug in "Back alley brawl" that cause after typing cheat code fannymagnet (female actors follow player) Lance get out of his car and he is acting like a woman

EDIT: Also, can you fix the bike dissapearing after the cutscene at colonel's yacht in "The Party"?
Aaaand, I know this can't be fixed by SCM, but maybe put it as an extra: some lampposts around this area are messed up.

Another edit: In the cutscene for the mission "The Fastest Boat" Diaz is shooting seagulls. The cutscene can take place at night, so maybe fix that. :)

Yo i was seeing that you do like my idea's so... here is some more. :)

-Make Romero spawn after "Two Bit Hit" in this place as in pre-release gameplay video

 

 

 

-Spawn Spand express after the mission "Riot" in the same place as on this mission.

-Add the VCS-Like timer "You have (...) seconds to get back in the car"

-In "Trechous Swine" mission make the mission pass whenever you loose wanted level, no matter if you are in car or

on foot (In original mission pass only if player is in car)

-Replace grenade at VCPD-HQ back to tear gas like it's in VC-PS2 V1.40 version.

-Fix "Prostitute bonus" by that i mean that the bonus 25% of health prostitute give you during the fun in car

is gone after saving the game. This works propertly in GTA III.

-Make Taxi Driver Side mission more interesting by adding more objectives in it just like in GTA VCS.

-Relocate the Little Havana Ambulance back to how it was in GTA VCS because it looks not like "GTA Style" when

parked on that grass area.
-How about making "CSruger" in the "Supply Demand" restored cutscene being the PS2 one because usually R*

doesnt change the cutscene models to "final" (PC one in this case) so it would be more R* like.

Hi i know i make new post instead edit but there is too much to read and i have another idea this time its big! maybe you can make new mission for steve scoot in movie studio look at this call phone

maybe you can recreate this mission maybe make that phone call after mission martas mugshot ( i don't remember the name ) and recreate this mission something like this maybe after phone call you need to go to the airport there is infernus on the runway and some ramp and you need to make stunts and make helicopter from movie studio follow you and recording this something like this you know or maybe something like this you need to do 30 stunts before time runs or you know.... i hope its possible and also you can check the vcs mission for inspiration look:
i hope you like my idea 1 more mission in vice city always cool ;)

 

I don't think creating missions based solely on one phone call and some speculation is really the aim of this mod. It's not really up to me though, so who knows. :pp

Well, don't forget that an outfit (pickup) and a complicated mission are two entirely different beasts to handle. Plus I might remove MC Tommy too, as that model is a temporary, experimental one only. Also I'd like it if someone could fix the rigging of IG Donald Love (currently only bearable enough for that little cutscene).

 

Anyway, there is a recent v1.7b though, sorry that it's save file breaking, again :p

Also, if there are any issues with the new timers (or other changes), do talk about it.

Nice fixes and thanks for making my ideas real. :)

 

Anyway i found a glitch with the new added timer "You have (...) seconds to get back in the ambulance" when you get out of ambulance patients are still marked on the radar while they shouldnt.

 

I also have an idea of adding "Level" text like in LCS/VCS.

How about making being able to enter only the back seats off the TAXI after you die/get busted like in LCS/VCS.

 

Could you also remove those two changes? they kinda forcing player to have certain clothes on cutscene what is not nice. Im talking about those...

  • At the Boatyard asset purchase, Tommy will now wear his Soiree outfit (or Mr. Vercetti if you already bought the Pole Position Strip Club) as he is being referred in the cutscene as a 'suit dude'.
  • In 'Keep Your Friends Close' mission, Tommy can wear either Soiree or Mr. Vercetti outfit to match the Lawyer's cutscene words of how you ruined your suit...

Here are also some more ideas that you might like:

-Add some more unused audio for the reference what you could add check this: https://tcrf.net/Gra...ty/Unused_Audio

-Replace grenade with tear gas in Ocean Beach VCPD-HQ.
-Fix a bug that makes alarm play forever even after completing the mission in "No Escape"

-Change the "MALE01" to the proper guy we could saw in the cutscene in "The Shootist"
-Make soldiers at Fort Baxter attack you only if you get inside and make them spawn ONLY inside the base.
-Make PCJ 600 in the mission "G-Spotlight" damage proof, because normally PCJ can easily caugh on fire.
-Remove Mc Tommy outfit.

-Change the names of police vehicles like enforcer to VCS like.

-Make random time said by Lance in the mission "Cop Land" like those "OK, timers are set, 5 seconds and ticking. OK, timers are set, 10 seconds and ticking"

-Make the "Radio off" text appear on screen when you turn the radio off (not sure that this can be done via scm editing)

-Make green propertly icon display on the radar when its not bought yet (icon of it is in the hud.txd but unused)

Those camera fixes broke camera in classic controls mode. Original 'unfixed' camera was fine with classic controls!

Please unfix these back, it's not related to player's angle, it's control scheme dependent

the fix for this problem shouldn't be made by changing player's angle by 180 degrees, it's not a fix, it's looking like a crappy temporary solution.

Peace guys, there is a new bump to v1.8 -- and after this, I ought to stop.

 

As for some other things I took some notes for.

 

 

 

"When you get out from the ambulance patients are still marked on the radar (they should not be)"

I tried for many hours but it always crashes at some instance when recreating the marks.

 

"Make PCJ 600 on the mission g spot light damage proof ( no more pcj 600 burn when jumping)"

How do you end up damaging the bike that much?

 

"Change name of police car enforcer and all police vehicles to vcs ones"

I prefer the names as they are in original VC.

 

"Make random time on the mission cop land"

Why?

 

"Make property icon on the radar when its not bought yet"

B_Smiles played with this before: 'The only issue with the property icons is that a sphere (like the mission markers) is created at skumole shack that I can't get rid of. Everything else is okay apart from that.'

IMHO it only helps the newb player in ruining the experience by showing them all on the map from the start. Also, what about the properties you cannot yet buy at the start of the game? Make them red colored, then change it to green when you can buy them? Probably requires two edits in hud.txd with two of the unused radio station icons..The thing is, I don't see much a point because VC is a small game, you can easily memorize its paths, routes, properties and all. Plus, the extra icons on the map could become annoying for those who replay the game the Xth time - the feeling could be like that of training wheels that become unnecessary.

It's pretty easy to damage the PCJ at G-Spotlight. All is takes few bad jumps or just the jumps themselves when the bike doesn't land properly.

Yep, I'm done with this, done for good. Quick final change to v1.8a and that's it. Not the most optimal, but. Source is there, now it's your time to suffer. There is no enjoyment for me in doing this. This activity is a new definition of pain, instead. I got nothing from this but 75% of time looking at SCM and 25% only testing the game repeatedly to the point that I don't even have the urge to see the logo/menu of VC, it became that disgusting, so you can imagine how much I don't want to even start a new game anymore. I don't have any energy left for this and let me leave it at that. The ever-boring end. About to uninstall the game entirely and move on with life.

Welp I guess no Updated SCM for GTASA or even GTA3. To be honest, yeah starting a new game to test it out repeatedly is very stressful but atleast you put a lot of progress into this to make Vice City a better place to stay. Enjoy your retirement.
