What people don’t seem to understand is that rockstar are doing things way different now. They might not do those huge gaps between trailers and releases anymore. Let’s just wait and see.

May 2024. They deleted all IG posts, leaving only the announcement one, they’re have been cooking VI for to long now and they don’t wanna go as they did for V or RDR2. They’re going all in

Even fall 2024 would feel rushed. If you looks at last 2 release it took 2 years to come out but that is offcourse with a delay and the initial release date feels like a placeholder/unrealistic goal + it keeps people pumped. Rockstar only has to post anyhing GTA VI related and they are good for weeks if not months. I remember GTA V had 0 news after the first trailer for ENTIRE year. People analyzing every frame, good times.

Maybe Rockstar has told us when the game is going to be released. Look at the “ONE DAY WILL REVEAL ALL” T-shirt, it says the day the 1st trailer is coming out on the numbers "12523". Then if you count how many numbers there are before the start of this date it's 9 numbers being "151405040" then you get the 12 which in this case it's the month.

 

Now, do the exact same thing but starting from the end and count exactly 9 numbers but writing them as if you write from right to left and you get these numbers, "212110211".

Now it's when the neat part comes in, the numbers being "050225" or the 2nd of May 2025, if we follow the same structure used on the trailer's date (I'm European and we use days/months/years instead of month/days/years).

Finally, the time that it's going to be released might be 8 AM, being "08" the number after "25".

With all of that, we get into a sequence of numbers that can be read from left to right and right to left in the same order: "12121", so this just reforms more the hypotesys of the date release being written from right to left.

 

PD: If you check the 2nd of May 2025 it's a Friday.

I forgot, if you count the number of days between the day after the trailer is released DEC 6 2023 and MAY 2 2025, there are exactly 513 days, which might not mean anything, until you separate the 5 and the 13, then add "GTA" and "20" you get "GTA 5 2013". I'm 99.999% sure it's not going to happen and R* is playing with us.

I would say pretty high, although I believe Rockstar changed the way they announce titles.

 

From the leaks and all I firmly believe Rockstar waited for GTA VI to be in its final polishing phase in order to show it to the world. Unlike GTA V (who is almost a whole other game graphically from the first trailer) and RDR

Hoping they're able to pull a Rabbit out of the hat, even if it isn't a relatively fast/shortened Release Date(as necessary)

 

At least Reduced PC release wait(if not equal Release with Console)

Could be an early 2025 (spring) with some buffer zone for unpredictable/things go slow, and postpone to fall of 2025. A postpone to 2026 might be possible but the game was already awaited for some time, they might go all in and finish some non essential stuff on the go.

I just hope those employees won't have horrendous crunch times.

I'm gonna throw my hat onto the second week of March 2025. Either Tuesday on the 11th or Friday the 14th. Basing it entirely on three things: the big one of course being T2s financial projections still showing a massive increase in FY25 and they did just confirm that a month ago with only a tiny decrease. The second one being this reddit post where the guy got all the trailer details correct hours before the video leak, although he also says January/February, I'm counting on my third reason for March to make sense and that is Spring Break. It's a massive event down in Florida, happens in March, it's thematically relevant.

 

I also think that with the hopefull lasting elimination of crunch culture, there will be no delay. Might seem counter intuitive, but no crunch makes any planning more accurate as it's not counting on exhausted workers performing at max efficiency for 80 hours a week.

I believe that gta 6 will be released between January and May and I believe that gta online 2/ gta online world/ gta online universe will be released between August and December and that is only because of the high revenue in the fiscal year and that ends Until March 2025, either the revenue refers to the pre-order or to the release and Rokstar has not announced the release month so early, so that if there is a postponement, it will be a long time, but if the game is released in the spring is published and most people think in autumn, then most people think it is shorter than expected and that is technical marketing.
