Mach1bud
So, you may have said this week, but Mach, I don't want a white background, I want a black one! Don't worry, I got you covered. A big thanks to ChaosZake for telling me how to do it. First thing we need to do is create a land race, preferably on a flat area of land. We will be using this prop, The Floating Platform. What you need to do, is flip it over, we are going to be building using the backside of the platform. And now, you just need to build a room out of this prop. Make sure all the surfaces on the inside of the room is the backside of the prop, including the floor. You can build this as big or whatever shape you like, as long as there is as little light getting in there as possible. Also don't build it on top of the blue runway lights like I did in these pics. The light shows through the floor lol. Also, I noticed, that the snaps came out better when I set the time of day to "Morning". That may be due to where the sun is at during noon, or the direction of the stage, or something. Experiment to see what works best. Finish, test, and save your race. Go Online and launch your race. Be sure to set it to GTA Race that way you can get out of your car, use weapons, etc. Record the footage with the Editor that you want to take a Snap with. Go into the Editor and similar to making a white background, crank up the Contrast all the way, or however much it takes to make the entire background black. From there, play with different filters and settings to get the colors and background looking just right. Here are some of my settings. And that's it! Enjoy taking snaps with a black background! As always, if you are lazy as f*ck, you can just use my job. Here it is. PS4 http://socialclub.rockstargames.com/games/gtav/ps4/jobs/job/2WT14xwC6kmDaMZMW2J_Sg I tried a long time ago to build a large indoor arena using that method for a pitch black Deathmatch but it doesn't work too well on a large scale. But eager to test this out for photos!
