It is nothing new that Rockstar has been working on a new game for quite some time. One or more titles could've been in pre-production since the early days of GTA V announcement, and now they're working with all of their force (all studios) on whatever is next. I noticed a trend that some old and new developers (2014/2015) are having a job title 'open world designer'.

 

I found Agent being mentioned on a few pre-GTA V profiles. It appears that this game was seriously put on hold before it even went into full production for the sake of GTA V. It seems that whatever work that was done on the game, they were probably just proof of concepts, mostly environment art. One might argue that it has encountered the same fate as PS2's Agent back in 2004. For this game, time is a flat circle!

A german retailer leaked the WWI setting for Battlefield 1 a few months before it ever happened. So I guess you never know.

Rockstar could be taking a episodic approach with Red Dead Redemption. Red Dead Redemption 2 could be taken as Red Dead Redemption Part 2. Take for example the Black Ops series. Its still under the Call of Duty brand and has its name in it, but its still a continuation. (Black Ops 1, 2, 3 etc.)

Eh, what the hell. Anything could be considered cannon really. I haven't touched a Call of Duty game since the first Black Ops came out. So i can't really comment on the zombie mode aspect.

My PhD was a collaboration between the computer science laboratory LIRIS: SAARA Team and an Artificial Intelligence Company SpirOps based in Paris.
And it focuses on real-time procedural characters animation, more precisely AI-driven characters animation in real-time systems.
My main thesis objective is to generate all animations in real-time without any Motion Capture data.

 

 

Rockstar is definitely eager to bring life to the people of the old west. I gotta love the old saying 'living breathing world', lades and gents!

Yep. Looks like it is Red Dead that is the next game.

 

I am excited. I reckon they'll announce the next Red Dead and then in-addition to the announcement they'll say something like "in-addition to this, Red Dead Redemption is now free with Games with Gold."

 

 

 

Not precisely, they usually announce GwG for the upcoming month on the last Thursday. Which would be this Thursday, so we will know if this rumor about RDR is true sooner than E3.

I really think the next game will be a new Red Dead most likely it will be announced at E3 this year then to be released in 2017 sometime. We all know something will be coming at E3 2016 but we dont know for sure what game we will really get just yet.

Looks like he also worked on AI indeed, he seems like a great asset to Rockstar. They're probably using his technology for animations.
