The Radio Station Elimination Game!

Radio Mirror Park has 2 or 3 good songs but how it won is beyond me.

 

The top 3 should be West Coast Classics, Blue Ark and either Radio Los Santos or Los Santos Rock Radio.

 

Also don't understand how Radio Los Santos went out first, I get that it's not everyone's cup of tea but what can be worse than Channel X and Soulwax FM?

My bad lol, I don't be on here as often as I used to so I just skimmed through the earlier pages and I thought RLS went out first.

 

Still though, RLS went out too early.

This was my kind of game, lots of strong opinions and discussion alongside the game and my favourite station won, to my surprise. I would have liked LSRR in second and the fact The Lowdown made it there instead is baffling to me, barely ever heard anyone express any feeling towards it. I guess that may be why, a classic under the radar result.

 

I know the mods got upset at some of the arguing but hey, the thread plowed on regardless and as far as I'm aware nobody cried themselves to sleep so it was a fuss over nothing I think. It was certainly the most interesting and lively game for a while.

 

Well done to RMP, one of the stations that defines GTA5 the best.

By the way, what happened to the host adding a comment next to each eliminated station in the OP? I thought they were a nice touch and they were fun to read.

 

I think I remember the Channel X one, and I thought it would be cool to add comments to the other stations. Some of them were tough to comment on, so sorry if they're not the best.

14. West Coast Talk Radio (2016/04/06) - Lazlow and Fernando worn out their welcome.

13. Soulwax FM (2016/04/06) - Didn't have enough soul.

12. FlyLo FM (2016/04/07) - Flew too low, crashed and burned.

11. Blaine County Talk Radio (2016/04/08) - Ron couldn't win the GTA community over.

10. Vinewood Boulevard Radio (2016/04/10) - Ran out of gas.

9. The Lab (2016/04/11) - An experiment gone wrong.

8. Rebel Radio (2016/04/12) - Drowned in a whiskey river.

7. WorldWide FM (2016/04/13) - Gilles Peterson couldn't bring the right beats.

6. Space 103.2 (2016/04/14) - Sent into a black hole.

5. West Coast Classics (2016/04/14) - Not the kind of classics people were looking for.

4. Los Santos Rock Radio (2016/04/15) - The good ship has sunk.

3. Non-Stop-Pop FM (2016/04/15) - Not even having Cara Delevingne could save this station.

2. The Lowdown 91.1 (2016/04/15) - The Lowdown dropped too down low.

I am over it, and I'll still say it's a joke.Why is it a joke? You have been saying this the entire time, it probably didnt help LSRR at all.

Even when i lose in game i still message other players "good game", i guess your one of those that stay mad at someone for days for winning a game.

I think this was one of the most exciting and fair elimination games we had here on gtaf, in my opinion

Over the last 2 weeks i played a lot of San Andreas on PS4. With all due respect, compared to the radio in SA, the stations in V are really poor.

 

K-DST compared to Los Santos Rock radio.

Radio Los Santos compared to Radio Los Santos.

Radio X compared to Channel X.

K-Rose compared to Rebel Radio.

 

They're not bad but what is it Rockstar? A matter of money? Or is it just because SA takes place in the early 90s and GTA V in 2013. I mean i really think that music in the 70s, 80s and 90s was much better. Is that the reason? But even many of the classics in V are nothing special compared to the ones in SA or Vice City. I wonder if we'd get another killer radio soundtrack if GTA VI would take place in the 70s or 80s. I don't know...Thought a lot about this while playing SA.
