What the hell is going on?! A radio station with big names and bands in its list with amazing songs and a legendary host below a station of bland songs and a generic British host?

Giles Peterson is a f*cking legend...you're just musically uneducated/narrow minded...and why exactly does his nationality have anything to do with it you pleb? The Beatles hailed from the UK.

 

Glad to see the best and most diverse station in the lead.

 

You compared Giles to the same respect of the Beatles? Next thing you'll say he's as legendary as Robert Plant and Gerry Rafferty, in which he is absolutely not.

And I get it you like classic rock lol...there is a whole world of music in existence outside of your stratosphere...you have narrow taste in music and confuse music you don't get/know nothing about with being "bland"

He's bland because he's not as classic as Loggins, none of these songs on Worldwide hit the top charts of the US and UK of the 70's and 80's, these are rock songs that inspired everyone and are still heard on radios today.

 

Worldwide FM only plays a tiny niche, that's how it is, it cannot compare to the legendary names in LSRR. I'm sure all of this convo will get deleted sooner or later, I don't care anymore.

I can appreciate all genres on their own unique merits and am unswayed by iconography and nostalgia...I'm sorry you haven't yet reached that level as a music fan.

I've heard everything on lsrr a begillion times and can appreciate it but rather than be stuck in my ways dinosaur like yourself I also like the newer classics that will be the classics of the future.

The quantity of unique subcultures represented on worldwide fm (modern jazz, house, electronica, grime and truesound dubstep as well as a pinch of soul) at least from a musicologist point of view far outstrips the narrow strip of power ballads and classic rock found on lsrr...just because you're totally unaware of all these genres does not mean it's a single niche...of course classic rock has a lot of followers but it's been around forever so it would do...are you going to argue that classical music or African tribal drumming is superior to classic rock because it's older by your own premise?

There are loads of great tracks on Worldwide. The Place, Forest Funk, Gaslamp Killer, Harpoon Land, Guts and Yuna. I could go on. Waveforms even made it onto our wedding playlist.

 

I like all of the remaining stations but down vote for LSRR for playing it safe, good songs but not very interesting.

I agree Worldwide has some great songs but I don't think it should be king. I'll never downvote LSRR unless it was against Non-stop-pop, I don't see why it's getting bullied. #stopradiostationbullying

It's the RMP led bandwagon against it that that annoys me. LSRR has somehow halved in the space of 2 days.

Plenty of mirror park fans have said they like LSRR but have downvoted it anyway because it's winning. I'm not saying everyone has to up vote the same thing as me, I'm saying people should downvote the station they don't like rather than the most popular one.

If being smug is the only trait you have, then I deeply apologize to those stuck with the fact they're acquaintances of yours.

 

You have yet again let a very obvious point fly over your head, you can like any genres and you are free to do so, but there's something wrong with you if you claim with a straight face that a techno/electro subgenre of music is better than or at the same level of legendary songs and creations of big musicians of the golden age.

 

Worldwide FM is catchy, it's nice to listen to, but I can't for the life of me understand your point of how it holds a candle to classic rock, I like the rock in this game because it's catchy and nice to listen to even on repeat, everything played there is unique and different with varied artists, but Worldwide FM and Soulwax and FlyLo are boring to listen to because they have the same vibe and similar tunes.

 

You can vote for Worldwide, you can downvote LSRR, but downvoting the latter just because it was ontop of this list is plain stubborn, these are big names and great songs, giving them the same treatment as Radio Los Santos and East Los FM is insulting.

 

I'm not taking part of this discussion anymore, we derailed it enough, and like I said I don't care what happens in this game anymore.
