asprince
Good afternoon! There is a directory with the file format * .docx, I need to recover file (damaged). If it simply open through the word, you must first get a warning that the file is not open because of: "Word was unable to read this document. It may be corrupt" Is it possible to open .docx file? uNi
You'll need Office 2007 or above to open it, in alternative use the compatibility pack for older versions or use google docs.
Rhoda
If the document is damaged and can't be opened with any edition of Word, you may find Savvy DOCX Recovery helpful. I can't vouch for the program personally, and it does only appear to be compatible with Windows, but it may help you in the recovery process of a document.
