Cost of All Clothing

So in my obsessive pursuit to buy everything available, I have now moved on to purchasing all the clothing. I'll admit it is taking much longer than I imagined. My best guess is that in total the clothing available costs well over $5 million, but was wondering if anyone has done the math or has a pretty good estimate.

Made some research and found someone who had spent $3.5 million last year. If you add to that the rest of the DLCs I'd say $4.5 million but honestly I have no idea. I'll leave the question open

well i own every piece of clothing there in the game and according to my socialclub i have spend 9.2million in "styling and entertainment"

dont know what falls under entertainment but clothes got expensive after heist were released, i remember expanding over 1million just buying the clothes during ill gotten gains.

so, ill say you need atleast 8-9million to buy every shirt, pant, hat, gloves, watches, earings, etc etc etc

I've bought all clothing for my female character excluding some of the massively overpriced chains. I wasn't really keeping track though. Would guess about 5mil

A skull necklace is more expensive than a pure gold shirt, ok.

Sick username, OP.

Thanks, appreciate that!

Great responses here. Clothes are crazy expensive, especially considering I'll never wear anything but the Flash FM tee.

Did the same thing but I can't say I have an exact number for you :/ the clothes from IGG 1&2 will definitely hurt your bank account but if your going to do this I suggest buying all of the outfits first just to get some of the stuff out of the way quickly, just a suggestion.

Obsesive indeed.

Btw it also depends on the gender of youre character i asume...to collect all you kinda woud need to have a guy and a girl.

True. I also will be missing some special releases so I can make some concessions.

I regret buying every sunglass and hat. Takes forever to scroll through them. Pretty sure the last time I bought clothes it said I had spent $4.9m on clothing

Pretty much everything on my main account, including "rare" tees an all that. Favorite article in the game has to be my Independence Day beanie, LOVE that thang (goes great w/ patriot beer shirt and some of the new work sweaters from LRCC).

I can imagine this being a pain. I have about 45 - 50 Pegasus vehicles to scroll through every time I just want to get one (when I really only use about 2/3).

Not being able to control inventories is flawed. I can't imagine a meeting where a pm said, "Nah, screw that. Nobody gets rid of anything."

Getcha the Megladon Shark Card ($8M) and it should do, but starting this now leaves a lot unobtainable (Holiday clothes, special hats/shirts).

or better yet buy a modded account with everything unlocked so you got a hundred million to spend on nothing

Spent on style & entertainment: $9.1M

That's just one character (female). The stat includes clothes, masks, hair, makeup, tattoos, fair ground rides, and movies, but I didn't watch Loneliest Robot 450,000 times, so nearly 98% of that is clothing with the rest being all the Halloween facepaints, tattoos (all of 'em), and less than a half-dozen hairstyle changes.

I bought all the clothes available after SantaModders gave me presents in 2013 and I just kept it going. The masks are a major bank-drainer.

Alright, so I've bought everything but the outfits. Seems a little redundant to buy those too considering it appears to be all the clothes I already have, just prearranged? I'm thinking of skipping that...
