Can't stay in group more than two contact missions.

When I play GTA, I just play missions all day, mainly with randoms in contact mission quick jobs.I have consistently been removed and sent to a free roam lobby (normally 1 person, unless i have a bounty then I am dropped into a lobby full of jet psychos of course). This only happens upon successful completion of two missions. If a mission is failed it can be retried as many times as necessary. I know how job selection and missions work, I have played the game nearly since release.

 

This began happening with the last update. I have had no problems with other games.

 

No need for a R* employee to tell me I have a problem with MY connection, that's not the case.

(wired connection, NAT type open, gateway settings are optimized, only xbox in house, new problem as of update)

 

Has anyone experienced this and found a solution?

If you are joining missions with random players there is no way to remain with the same group as such, the only times that happens are if you are

playing as host and have your Options set to remain host after the vote lobby, the group you have played with will then come to the next job with you.

 

Quick job voting the game will put you to the job but if the lobby was already full it will put you with the next available group of players playing that

job.

Yes, this has happened to me. Sometimes I get 2 missions, sometimes when I load into the next mission it took so long that everybody started it without me, and sometimes I spawn in Freemode. I assume until it gets fixed (god knows when) it's just luck

i have this same problem since the last update i also get tons of lag when going on call

 

2-3 times now after losing connection to the session i spawned in an empty lobby with no minimap cant access weapon wheel all i can do is walk around i have to restart the game to fix that

 

currently waiting for rockstar to repond to my support ticket but i know they will give me the same response they give everyone else

after a week of basic troubleshooting steps they have escalated my case to the proper department whatever that means

I often host races, but the ability to remain host has been broken for a month, at the time an update came out. After the vote screen, my friends and I are sent to some race we didn't vote on, in a lobby of randoms, and some random is the host. Sometimes we get a few races in with me as host before this happens. So annoying, as randoms tend to use sh*t settings for races.

 

I tried changing the Remain Host setting to <NO>, and it didn't change anything. I set it back to <YES>, and still no fix.

 

And please... it's not my internet:

Hard wired, proper NAT, 30down/10up solid cable.
