I need more to work off of other than pitch, speed, and altitude. 2. The compass headings in every aircraft in the game are also screwed up. 3. I can't jettison the external fuel tanks on the P-996 which would free up some drag, which also brings up the fact that its top end is 175-180 knots.. wtf? It should be more like 600 knots. The jets were nerfed from the very second they were placed in the game. I'm estimating, 1 in 20 lobbies I join have a guy in a jet. I do 1 of 2 things. I either switch lobby or I get in a jet and fight him in his weapon of choice. Buzzards kill me more than jets anyway. If you got a problem, get up in the air and take care of business with equal weaponry... Sometimes you just meet better killers and then it's just shrug it off and move on, or switch sessions... ANYONE was able to own the whole lobby because it took damn near like 10 RPG's to destroy a tank. I can't lie, the feeling that you would get back then after destroying a tank was wonderful. However, that was after being killed 3-5 times by the tank scrub 1st. Jets really didn't become a problem until the Tanks got tweaked. It was funny then too. as a hardcore IV player i can tell you the disappointment was real when i bought the annihilator and didnt have explosive rounds. And no, don't use a stupid HL against me. Because I'll just do an erratic loop. So it's even hard for snipers to get me down, because I don't follow a path when avoiding the HL... like some other pilots do when they just start going in a circle. Best thing to do to avoid getting killed while in a jet... remain unpredictable. And what's a snipers worst nightmare? Unpredictability! Zader Posted March 24, 2016 Share Posted March 24, 2016 People on this forum don't seem to understand what metagaming is, or that when such a large crowd of people complain about the exact same issue for so long, that means there's typically a problem at hand. Homing launcher and sniper are worthless. It takes you three mags to get me smoking or 10 rockets to stop my movements for maybe a couple minutes. I can get another jet for $200 with no cooldown and can go passive to get it, dodge a killing shot that'd kill me, and then come out and strafe a street, killing things I can't even see because the blast radius on the stupid explosive rounds are so needlessly powerful. If you've got billions from a transfer, like many of my jet griefer friends do, it doesn't matter how many T20s you pull out. This is not a case of "get good" and it never has been. This has been a legitimate problem for more than a year and you people have no way to counter these arguments besides "passive mode" and "get good". That's not balance. This isn't balanced. Literally the least they could do is make the blast radius on the cannons smaller and people would stop complaining. It'd also take skill to actually use the jets against ground combatants and wouldn't make any kind of difference in dogfights. Homing Launcher should also get buffed to use rockets that much are faster than the Hydra That way you can kill the tank with a hydra and get killed by a player that is using the homing launcher.
