Is GTAO safe from the money stealing hackers?

I saw that the guys using menus to steal money and give bad sports was back a few weeks ago. Was the problem corrected,and is it safeish to play in a public lobby on PC

Unfortunately though, R* will always leave their replies automated instead of actually taking action. R* Support has failed their own fans and us.

Personally, after what happened to my garage yesterday where I am stuck with the free garage, I hope that last gen, current gen, and PC get overrun by modders. With the way Rockstar treats their fans, they truly deserve to loose their cash milking game. Eventually, all platforms will have lots of modders. But by then, GTA 6 will be out and it won't matter.

 

I used to like GTA Online till last night. But the fact that I cant trade in the free two car garage to get my 10 car garage back proves that Rockstar doesn't know what their doing. The reason why I traded it in the first place is because of a broken garage slot.

Money-stealing hackers are rare, most of them will give you money instead of stealing it, which may sound good but it may cause one to get hit by R*'s banhammer.
