To be honest, you'd be a mug to buy a Steam copy for modding. You can get the SC edition of the game for under £20. This is more for the people who insist on having a Steam copy of everything.

I like the convinience of steam but it also annoys the f*ck out of me at times. Shift tab yourself steam.

I've all the other games in my list but I'm hesitant at getting it V on PC. Besides the fact that would be copy number 3.

I got the others (minus gta 4) because those games consoles had long been resigned to the loft and it was a way to play them.

Someone else got me IV and I haven't touched it because I still had a working ps3 at the time.

 

 

27 quid tho aint bad. Would need too upgrade my gfx card though, it's ancient so we're now talikng closer to 200 squid for a semi decent card and the game.

Hehe 650ti boost here and it's showing it's age. Everything else is ok. But I could really do with a new card. Been having some heat probs lately.

 

I'll probs get something new in the summer. The 970's seem to be decent enough bang for the bucks.

Some weeks ago I sold my crappy GTS250 and I bought an HD7870 Ghz for only 50€. Next year I'll porbably buy a GDDR5X architecture based GPU instead of buying a GTX 970.

really? thanx then im going for a Cpu upgrade first and leave the Gpu for a few months

any info on the prices for the 1070 etc ? hope they dont go higher then 600$ lol

 

edit: damn man.. i was so excited to get a new gpu and now im like a child that was told Christmas is only in January lol

I don't have any issues modding my Steam copy, although the only reason I bought it over a physical copy is that I paid for it with a TF2 Unusual that someone gave me for free. I had 2.5Mbps down at the time, so I spent a week preloading it. Thank goodness TN finally has modern internet speeds now.

 

As for the Pascal GPUs, I'm thinking about waiting for them to be out long enough to drop the prices on the 980Ti and picking one of those up. I've been thoroughly unimpressed by my R9 290, so it's time to give the dark side a chance, even if I'm morally against Nvidia's business practices.
