Keano
As much as I love GTA V, I can't help but feel disappointed with some of the songs in the game's soundtrack. Songs such as Sleep Walking, Backer Street, Lets Go all the way, Gangsta Gangsta, Radio Gaga and a few others are very good but some songs just aren't very GTAesque. While some songs do match the environment and setting, I feel that most of the music doesn't match the general GTA feel of police chases, stunt jumping, etc. I feel Rockstar should bring in a radio station that plays songs from past GTA games that we all loved the most. Doesn't even have to be genre specific, just a playlist of the best ones. I'm thinking something simple like "Throwback FM" or even bring back "Flashback FM" and Rockstar could mention what game they appeared in. With that in mind, what would you call the station and what songs would you have? I'm gonna go with Throwback FM. Songs would include: Living Colour - Cult of Personality (GTA San Andreas) Depeche Mode - Personal Jesus (GTA San Andreas) Depeche Mode - Everything Counts (GTA Vice City Stories) Public Enemy - Rebel Without A Pause (GTA San Andreas) NWA - Express Yourself (GTA San Andreas) Toto - Africa (GTA Vice City) Bryan Adams - Run to You (GTA Vice City) Lynyrd Skynyrd - Free Bird (GTA San Andreas) America - A Horse with No Name (GTA San Andreas) Heart - Straight On (GTA IV) Joell Ortiz - Hip Hop (GTA IV) Cypress Hill - How I Could Just Kill A Man (GTA San Andreas) Da Shootaz - Joyride (GTA III - also GTA I theme) Smashing Pumpkins - 1979 (GTA IV) Thin Lizzy - Jailbreak (GTA IV) Frankie Goes To Hollywood - Relax (GTA Vice City Stories) Hall & Oates - Maneater (GTA IV: EFLC) PS; if a similar thread has been done, let me know and post a link. Couldn't find one though.
Fuzzknuckles
Boring as it may sound, I just want the entire San An soundtrack back. I have many gripes about San An but the radio stations were absolutely on point. I'd replace pretty much everything in V's stations with SA's in a heartbeat. Maybe because after the 90s, pretty much all music turned to utter sh*t. Big_Smiley, ClaudeSpeed1911 and UltraGizmo64 3 Signatures are dumb anyway. hoxi
It would cause a bit of a hassle with licensing, hell, some songs on your list aren't in their respected games anymore.

I would probably take back all of the San Andreas sountrack if I could or Vice City's. Also I, usually find that a good lot of the songs Rockstar had written exclusively for their games are well received such as GTA III and some GTA V songs. Down to taste, but I am all 80s/90s when it comes to music with exception to some indie rock songs Edited March 24, 2016 by [email protected]
Al3x_XXI
There is a song in San Andreas called "Chase The Devil" which was in the K-JAH West radio, i wanted it back in any other GTA the song was so good. In GTAV it did came back, but it's a remix of the song (pretty much better than the original one) it's "Disco Devil" you can find it in the Blue Ark radio station. OnTopic: I really loved the 90s soundtrack that San Andreas had, it was amazing and i'd like to have some songs back from it, in newer GTAs. It's a matter of taste for music, even for me San Andreas had the best soundtrack than every other GTA.
B Dawg
Maybe because after the 90s, pretty much all music turned to utter sh*t. Not really. There is AMAZING music nowadays, some even better than the old 80s 90s stuff, but none of it is popular. People have to look for it, because they won't ever find it on TV or Radio. I agree with this, Synthwave revivals alone redeems today's music. As for the OP, GTA theme should have been in every GTA to date: I would also love if they brought back the GTA2 credits song which could play if there was a drug fuled riot:

It is also the theme of the Commodore 64 intro for Vice City and you can have it as a ringtone in GTA IV. However, I would rather see it on the radio as it did in the first GTA games. In regards to the GTA II end credits, I agree. Don't know why but it reminds me of Bully. ClaudeSpeed1911
