Aim preference keep reverting back to partial assistance

I play on pc and I use a xbox 360 gamepad for flying, but as long as I have my gamepad plugged in my aim preference keep reverting back from free aim to partial assistance whenever I start or restart gta 5. Is there a way to lock it to free aim or do I have to change it in story mode every time I start gta 5?

Ahhhhhh so not just me then, I m on xbone , and after breaking controller no 3 million could only afford a cheaper plug in one, but keep nothing that every so often I'm struggling to lock and move ,when I check aim is on assisted "partial" was wondering if I had change some setting or other to let Xbox divers know I'm using different controller but couldn't find a setting for it

I have a similar issue crop up quite a lot which is kind of annoying. I'll be in freeaim and then I 'll get a job invite from a friend so I try and join but they will most likely be in auto aim so I'll have to change my preference. No problem but then I'll be told that the job is already in progress and do I want to spectate? If I say no then it usually dumps me back in to freeroam but my aim preference won't change back to freeaim, it will be autoaim so I'll have to go back to storymode to change it. Its even more annoying when I'm in an invite only session and this happens and then I get dumped in a public auto aim session when I choose not to spectate which takes forever to load up.

Try going to creator to change aim preferences load times a bit shorter
