lol232
Actually, I don't think so, especially not with advanced. At least not constant 60 fps. Edited March 23, 2016 by lol232

I have a 970 and I haven't even bothered trying to max that out. Every blade of grass casts shadows. There's no way.

Go to a very grassy area (like the one near Humane Labs) with grass set on Ultra and shadows at very high and notice how your frames will drop to 30! nicktestbranch
I'm hoping the next edition of the Titan will be able to deliver on some of those advanced graphics.
SilverRST
I wouldn't bother with the Pascal bullsh*t GPU's like the GTX1070 and 1080 because they likely will get the GDDR5X instead of HBM2. In that case and if you want to play GTAV on max with advanced graphics on, you're looking for the GTX2070 or wtf nVidia ever is calling them. Better wait for fully matured GPU's because nVidia being so greedy as a addicted meth ho, they won't utilise the power the first generation. Quit talking out your ass l0l. I get a constant 60 FPS everywhere (because V sync). I have that on my 980 Ti and I had that on my original 980. Maybe if there are explosions in the desert at night it will go down to 40, but never 30. Grass on Ultra brings my 970 down to 30 FPS. Console frame rates. What 970 do you have? Because there are 2GB variants and brands that are not ASUS, Gigabtye, EVGA, MSI that will suck too.
loony979
When it comes to Pascal & 1070 we all know nothing ,but a confirmation that Pascal is 10 times faster for video editing and with that said nothing on gaming has been stated . Will the new Pascal line up be great i hope so but for now we know nothing ,not till say LTT or some 1 can confirm details or Nvidia them selfs . just a waiting game. Eh, I feel like when it comes to playing on the PC 60FPS should be the goal. But that's just me. It also doesn't help that the frame times in GTA V are absolutely screwed when locked at 30FPS. Instead of each lasting 33ms, some last 28, some 30, some in the 40s. The frame times are inconsistent resulting in the game being stuttery with hiccups. Never had this problem with GTA IV, or the 3D era games where 30FPS is practically a must since physics break beyond that.
