Hard top fan will hate it for its clothy looks, and soft top fans will hate it because it can't be lowered; worn fans will also hate the inability to upgrade the beater. Either this is an unfinished version that they're still trying to fix (hence the delay in release) or Rockstar are trolling hard. Or you are. I agree that it's stupid and will frustrate many including myself but that's how it's currently scripted. I can't see it changing but we can hope, after all nothing is ever definite until it goes live. So the tornadois hardtop but looks like convertible? Hopefully they are working on something game changing Holding out on cars to pad one single update into three when better things could have injected life into the game, to be precise. At this point I don't care if they are holding back 2 lowriders or 200,000,000 lowriders. This horse is dead and rotting. Exactly how I feel and absolutely spot on. In Brazil they use the expression "pisou na bola", which translates as "stepped on the ball". Basically, you don't do it - the ball loses air and becomes useless - you f*ck up, in other words. It's not Rockstar's fault - they are programming away and doing what they do best - but the fault of the marketing crew at Take-Two interactive for squeezing out pathetically minor content and making it sound like something AMAZING this weekend, when it isn't. One of the highlights we've had over the last few months is the 2x payouts on various events - VIP events, contact missions, etc... but that's gone full circle, and has been superseded by yet more weekends of adversary modes and promotional content, and now this - a 1.33 update that already contains the code within for the new lowriders, launched last week, and withholding it from us - stretching it out over the next month or so. I'm sorry to sound like a tantruming kid - I can be like that sometimes - but this marketing spiel should stop. At first I was happy with the regular weekend events and 'content', but Rockstar haven't got anything for us right now, and bullshtting us with paper-thin event weekends has become very old. Sorry the roof has it's own 8 or 9 designs and is separate from interior design, I did edit that out but not before you responded. You will be able to have plain colour roofs. Minivan side doors do become sliding doors and I'm almost certain you can only upgrade the clean hardtop (possibly softtop) tornado at Benny's. Fair enough but regardless of that it wouldn't have been difficult for R* to give us the option of a hardtop tornado custom for the players who don't want a convertible. Those liveries are horrendous though, as are most of the stick-on novelty parts.
