I some missions and situations one or more of the playable characters are grayed out or removed from the UI when pressing the button to switch character.

 

I'm searching for a way to do this. Does anyone know how to? I would really appreciate it.

well, easy way would be to disable the switching game control, using Game.DisableControl(). I dont know the exact native for it but you can find it in the github page or the nativeDB. Or if u want to mess with the UI, i suggest looking at the decompiled scripts of the missions, you'll surely find the native there Edited by AHK1221

NativeDB says that "INPUTGROUP_WHEEL" = 2. That's interesting. But I don't know which control flag to use with it.

A search with "CONTROLS::DISABLE_CONTROL_ACTION(2," gives me these flags from the decompiled scripts:

Edit: CONTROLS::DISABLE_CONTROL_ACTION(2, 19, true) disables the switching UI from appearing both when using a keyboard and xbox 360 controller. Needs to be looped.

I'm not so sure the control groups documented in the db are accurate. First of all I only found 0, 1 and 2 in the scripts. Also, I get freeze of movement when using controlGroup 2 and

control values between 20 and 100. Something disables running and jumping 20 - 30, freezes movement 30 - 40. Also no switching of player somewhere between 160 - 170.

 

Control group 1 and 0 gives the same results. Same results for all players.

There's a similar list with control groups in the db. I don't know if those are right since there're only 0, 1, 2 in the decompiled scripts.
