Any way to skip Demolition Man?

I've been playing Vice City for some days and I just can't pass the Demolition Man mission. It's so damn hard. Anybody to give me some cheat or strategy how to pass/skip it?

I never kill any of the guys, but it looks like it can be easier if you use the Blades of the RC Goblin to kill the guys trying to attack you. I usually just fly in, plant the bombs and be done with it. I don't see a reason to kill the guys cuz it's easy enough and it's not like any of them can do anything to you when the Helicopter is out of their reach. The only ones who can do something is the guys with Pistols, but their accuracy is pretty terrible. If you're quick enough, you can get in and get out without them doing a single thing to you. For the life of me, I'll never get why this is so hard for people. It's not just you. There is thousands of people who think the same thing. Glad I am not one of them.

I used to think this mission is hard when I was a kid. I definitely remember the first time I played VC back in 2005 and I reached this mission, I couldn't beat it and I thought it was impossible. Few years later after some practicing, it's no longer impossible and I can always do this in the first try. It's not too difficult if you practice flying the helicopter.

 

However as far as I know, this mission doesn't have to be completed in order to advance the story but it's obviously required for 100% completion. Just keep trying and probably you will succeed.

You can't skip the mission in-game. The only way to skip is to download a save file and replace yours with it, but I wouldn't recommend it.

 

If I recall correctly, the timer starts after only after you have collected the first bomb, so don't collect the bomb at the start, fly inside, kill everyone with the blades, and the plant the bombs without trouble.

If you're playing on PC or Mobile, you can always upload your save to http://www.gtasnp.com, post the link here on the forums, and have someone complete it for you.

 

I would keep trying it though. You'll get the hang of the heli controls eventually!

Nope. It takes practice, practice and more practice. When I last played the Mission, it was not that difficult, and I was using a Keyboard Controller at the time.

Its not that hard. Few tips are, start from the top floor, kill the man with gun when the heli health is full, then you can complete it easily, just dont go near other men. And if on keyboard then set turet up and down keys to two keys near arrow keys one above another. But if you wanna skip it then i can tell you how PM me.

You can check game wikia and search online for hints. The mission isn't hard, but requires quick sense ( once the mission timer starts ) and creative thinking on the player's part.

Now, I'm not saying you lack at it, but you should try to experiment more outside what the game tells you by default. That's the beauty of 3D GTA's as many missions are fairly open ended and don't hand-hold you like the HD GTA's.

 

Personally, I used to fail this mission doing alternative approaches, too. In order to understand the mission, the layout of the construction site, the placement of the security guards, etc and then started playing the mission in different ways to complete the mission.

That's all there's to it.

So, I'd still suggest you to keep trying for that feeling of self satisfaction in figuring out yourself instead of seeking the shortcut route to finish the missions through sources available online.

Start demolition man (mission number 19 if you are using a mission loader), enter the top fun van and skip the cutscene (UP arrow). As soon as you gain access to the heli, hold the 0 key. The building will blow up immediately.

For 100% it IS required. You can work up to Keep Your Friends Close... and leave the "A" for Avery Carrington on the Map and just not do it. It's not required to advance the Story, only for 100%. Just like Zero's Missions in SA are required for 100%, but NOT required to advance the Story. FACTS...

WOW, not too make fun of OP. But, what makes it so difficult to fly a RC plane. Ive done it on PC, consoles, and i haven't had one issue.. What seems to be the problem, the thugs who try to stop you or the RC itself? I can image you in playing "New Model Army". Anyways, hope you get it done.

Embrace yourself! Helicopters in VC! Such a big leap from III.......Not really. If you can fly a Maverick, you can pass this Mission. Same thing...

 

Like I said, for the life of me, I will never get the problems people have in these GTA's. Wait until he gets to Bombs Away! in which he must drop Bombs from the RC Baron onto moving Boats and Enemies on land. And unlike Demolition Man, this is a Mission in which NEEDS to progress the Story.

Militia, i fully understand u there. idk maby on ps2/3/4 its harder than on pc. i dont own ps2 so cant tell it but if ppl complain then maby its rly hard. for where its damn easy on pc. but i also had problem with it back in 2006. didnt have numpad on my laptop. so i get in their shoes somehow. but guys seriously the best platform is pc however ya'll will say that ps2 has better stuff and bla bla but im a true pc player and its too damn easy on pc. im sure whoever plays on pc knows that..ik lots of ppl play on ps2/3 or xbox360..maby thats why its hard.
