I do deal with a**holes (or did, when I used to play more). I just did it with whatever in game tactics/weapons I could use. So using cover against the homing launcher, using the sniper against jets. Wasn't much but it did do something.

 

Having said that, I suppose there is the option for "griefing" as a report. I don't know. I just wish Rockstar had made it harder to be an a**hole, rather than relying on players being good and honourable, and having a report that could basically cover anything.

Ahhh I wondered how people with so little skill they have to go and get a jet managed to grab a jet without dying on the ground and it's because they call lester...lolololol

Bring a fast car, jump over the fence. Drive to the end of the landing strip. That draws most soldiers away from the jets. Once they are away from the jets go back, hop in a jet and take off.

 

If there are too many soldiers by the jets when you attempt to take off, they might damage your jet or park a Mesa in your path. That's why I draw most of them away at first and then kill any soldiers that come close while I'm attempting to get in the jet (usually only one or so).

 

 

 

Jets are as annoying as cops. But that sh*t just comes with free roam. All you ground fighters need to use the tools you have. Kick the jet a-holes. Report them. Go passive till they get bored. Leave.

 

Rockstar hates the players in this game. We are spoiled, belligerent children they regret having. They will never offer a proper solution to jets. Your tears, their candy.

Report them for what? Edit. I've decided I don't really care. Odds are it'll amount to this:

 

Simply being butthurt because you got killed a few times isn't griefing.

 

Can you still report people for "Annoying me"?

I haven't reported anyone since reporting a modder on PS3, it was an option then. Lol dumb feature.

^ Only reasonable reason for killing somebody in a jet. Otherwise you're a c*nt

 

While it wasn't directly listed, "armed aircraft that are aggressive" is still equivalent to "other c*nts in jets".

 

My "code" is simple. Neutral until attacked; then attack the attacker. You are then considered a hostile and you will be monitored as long as need be until considered non-hostile.

 

The only time you should attack in a jet is if you are being attacked or will be attacked.

The thing is ... Not everyone in a jet is a griefer.

 

I get it out when I'm badly outnumbered and need the odds evened, or I just need to get somewhere in a hurry. That's very different to someone who just goes around blowing people up over and over for no reason at all.

 

I'm actually with you on jets being a little overpowered, but there's really no point hating everyone who uses one.

there are too many choices... id tick them all or just the last one.. i always kill flying players first and keep my eyes on the players near to hydra spawn points.. if theres none of them ill kill everyone except my friends.. which is hard because sometimes we own the half of the lobby..

Lol. Ur right. I play in an elite circle though. Jets are just part of every single one of my friend's and aquantence's repertoire. I regularly see the likes of reconcile and his minions and other youtubers you may watch. I even have the best pacifist-type friends in datsaintsfan crew. I see the most popular car-show lobbies and then those that are only filled with try-hard crews. I've seen all the extremes but i know that jetting is dexterity and hand-eye coordination driven.

Man though, if someone is wrecking sh*t in a jet, 99% of the time they wreck 100% of the time.

 

There are some jet pilots that spend more than 90 percent of their time in jets, so in gunfights, they might not be as good. That's why you see them going into passive mode after they crash, then go off-radar to go back into Fort Zancudo again.

The best sign of a good player is if they can get kills with an unarmed aircraft:

True but so is regular driving.

Freeroam fighting though....it just requires knowing some dirthy tricks and some logic...

Exept of course when going even further...but yea...realy...master the jet and know how to suicide rpg and you know enough to kill many people efectively.

I don't grief in jets, and I find them extremely annoying. In fact, I've been in huge favour of friendly lobbies since day one, and they still haven't implemented them yet, or should I even say 'yet'? If there were friendly lobbies, I would be playing in those 90 percent of the time. But to call people assholes for killing randomly in lobbies where it's intended is asinine. Sure, it can be frustrating when attacked for no reason out of the blue while minding your own business, but at the same time, they're doing something that's part of the game, especially when friendly fire is on by default and you have so much military vehicles and weapons to begin with.
