What targets are appropriate for jets?

It's a sandbox game in free mode. There are no morals. Only deaths. Moralizing in this game and driving at a behavior standard is a wasted exercise.

 

You want decency? Don't play in free mode. If you go into free mode, urban war simulation with zero respect for others is the standard.

Why would it matter in a game what targets are targeted? Its just a game and if you don't like being countinously being bombarded by jet fire, just change sessions. Or as I do, fight back. Probably lose but the challenge is fun to me. Recently, just go ghost after the third kill if its that aggravating. Haters gon hate but me I just laugh at the jet griefer cause he thinks its aggravating me. True story. Lol!

NOPE! I faced off against you and your boy, you got 2 kills on me, then I used off radar, then ghost organisation along with bribe the cops. All to get a Lazer, I then ripped apart you and friends Hydra right out of the sky. Directly after, you and your friend left the session, never to be seen again. Just like a typical jet clown, the second the tables were turned, you couldn't run away fast enough.

I'm not very good with jets, most of the times I can't even get out of Fort Zancudo without being taken down but, sometimes I like to get it to destroy people that are using the Rhino (I have yet to see someone using the tank for offroading purposes). Still I won't last long since as I said I'm not very good with them and can't avoid Homing Launcher missles.

If you're in a public session then you're fair game for all players all of the time, just like I am. That list doesn't need to be a checklist. It would be more suited to an order of preference.

Yea well sorry to say but this game kinda requires me to get good with jets(and rpg)

Something wich is best done by practicing on other players their avatars.

 

If they actualy want to think about actualy balancing things i woud love that...but untill they actualy do that, any person that isnt a friend is a target to practice on.

 

But hey...if it makes you happy i generaly practice on people that threatened me first, or have a high KD

 

O yea...on top of that i generaly am in freeroam waiting to get conected with a propper race...unless in a fight were someone fights back...again a thing wich woudnt happen if they fixed their sh*t.

Not that i hate the game now, but this game realy encourages playing dirthy... not my fault

Same here. I usually only get in a jet for convenience - need to travel over the map for something and don't want to drive; doing an event and feel the need for firepower as well as wings etc.. I usually only go for bounties and other flying players, but if I see someone I want to attack then I will. It's a game. It happens to me too, and I'm okay.

 

Cue the babies calling people griefers and/or pussies. Go.

I never used to bother with jets or being a random nutter in a session and tried to be a 'nice' player, but over the last few weeks I have changed - unless someone approaches me in passive I treat them as a threat as its shoot first, ask questions later policy I adopt. If in freeroam I will mainly just go after bounties (without blowing up the PV is they are in one) or look for someone being bullied and will head over to give the griefer a wee lesson.

 

 

I was in a session yesterday where four (bright red) jets were in an all out war with each other in the skies of downtown, I was hiding out on a roof in passive as was busy rolling a 'ciggie'...It was actually very entertaining watching them, they were all good pilots and none went near anyone on the ground...as I said it was very good to watch.

Before entering Zancudo, call lester as get 'police ignore your crimes for a short time' - means you have three mins to jump the fence and grab a jet with no stars. (I actually never knew to use this until very recently (doh).

 

Do the flight school thing to get better at flying - it does help.

 

Homing missions, once one is after you fly in a constant circle - in a lazer this is easy, in a hydra a little more difficult in my view.

I use mine for bounties when they're very distant or inside an Insurgent, jet griffers (mainly if they killed me) and Insurgents using it to kill people arround (again, if they kill me it's a sure takedown).

 

I also use it during some VIP jobs when I'm not the VIP to protect the guy from any threats.

Compared to my Combat MG kills the jet griefing is nowhere near. I rarely use my Hydra, I prefer ground fighting.

Your kd wouldn't be anywhere near that high from ground fighting...anyone that plays this game a lot knows that.

Out of topic but you guys reminded me a few days ago a low-level tried to ran me over with a Ubermacht. He failed, I killed him, killed him one more time and then called my car to go away. My active car happened to be my Blade, and as I made my way the guy was in the middle of the road so I hitted the gas as ran him over. I wasn't expecting it to kill him but it did, probably because of his low health, and I laughed and it and texted "that's how you run over somebody". That is the power

I'm very good on the ground. I use the Combat MG, Heavy Sniper, RPG and Minigun. If someone hides in cover send them some RPGs, if they're using the Marksman Rifle use the Minigun. Always combat roll, If they are combat rolling - then only combat roll after theirs has finished, you will slaughter people. Nothing beats the minigun though lol it mows people down so easy, if they're being a noob go FPS and strafe with the sniper. Kill yourself if your health is low from killing 3 people at once. If they're blowing up your car get an Insurgent or Jet out, these idiots deserve to be killed all the time. If you're blowing someone up its FINE, if they're blowing you up; it's NOT.

 

Come on man I got unlimited tips for you to get you better.

I find this thread quite funny and entertaining. I'm learning some new fun things to do. I'm now in the habit of grabbing a jet and shooting everyone and everything in the session. I send muggers on the geeks trying to hide and shoot me with homing missiles... I call mercenaries on people participating in the free roam events... I put bounties on players with modded accounts...

Then just to top it off when I do crash my jet I quickly switch sessions and restart the whole thing.

Joining a public session means accepting that you may be targeted by others.

All this code of honour stuff is 100% imagination.

 

Talk about "pussy tactics", trolling and griefing all you want, it's all irrelevant. You go online and join a session with other players, that's accepting a risk.

If someone doesn't understand that, that's just too bad. And someone should educate them on how things work so they can avoid becoming victims.

 

I strongly dislike Lazer warriors who think they have to kill everything on sight, a single half decent pilot can effectively terrorise a whole session by him or herself. That said, this is GTA and everything goes. Not only is that already the case (even though Rockstar seems to have an issue with us blowing up PV's, what's that all about?), that SHOULD be the case. There are already plenty of other competitive shooters where the games are more organised and where you are penalised for "childish" behaviour.

 

So, in my opinion EVERYONE is essentially fair game.

However, that doesn't mean that when I'm in a jet (and I rarely am, since I never practiced much and can't be bothered to now) that I go after every other person in the game. I generally don't shoot down unarmed aircraft unless it looks like they're trying to fly into me. I may kill players on the ground but if I do so once and they're not fighing back at all, I leave them alone.
