It turns out it's actually a sh*tty adversary mode locked to 1 stock and not actual racing for the decent racers to earn some money

My god no one wants this sh*t and after they decided against double money and RP on the lowrider missions I was pinning hopes on owning some noobs at the thing I am best at...why modify cars fully at all if they just want you to use stock ones?

 

I'm not even mad...I just got into bed having finished house of cards s4 and googled it and watched it on YouTube.

 

Funny how so much has gone on with bugs etc this week since the update that entirely affects the making of money in this game and they also conveniently removed the better day in lowrider missions...not to mention the fact I've not even seen any double money invites to these half arsed dumb lowest common denominator game modes.

I'm going to be honest right now.

I have no clue why they keep Introducing these new adversary modes. A majority of the players don't even play them anymore after two or three days after they come out (judging by the time I have waited for players to join). I have also realized a lot of players are only interested in how much money do they get paid, because R* have increased the price of their in game items. Without double GTA$, Adversary modes only pay around $2000 and what adds more frustration is that they are very quick, meaning there is more loading time. I think some Adversary modes are fun with a lot of players (Drop Zone, Sumo, Slasher), however they don't have much replay value to them. Nonetheless, I'm really interested in this Inch by inch one that is coming up. We will have to wait and see

What R* should do if they want to keep adversary modes alive is, give us the ability to create our own adversary modes. Which i'm sure the community wont disappoint.

Keep the Pace, Relay and Offense Defense are all land races (teams have to race through checkpoints to the finish) however they are adversary modes and are not actual race game modes.

 

Short Answer:

They are technically Races but with a twist to them.

That's what they're for in general now I realise it...

 

They can't blatantly lower mission payouts or some other game modes that are worthwhile to an extent financially so they flood the market with low paying sh*tty new content in the hope kids will play them and feel hopeless and ask mummy for a sharkcard as itz tooo haard to maik munny !!!

The modes were fun at first, and the variety is nice, but god do I wish they'd stop shoving them down our throats.

I'd like new missions, more actual content, and less filler. Lowriders are cool and all, and these modes are probably fun until the novelty wears off, but really, we need something else here.

They didn't even do anything for the one year anniversary of their biggest update, not even a post on the newswire.
