also an annoying thing is when your being chased by cops and you check your minimap and don't see any close and suddenly get rammed by a cop car (i had it happen today with franklin).

i killed a motorcycle cop and took his bike and did a quick check of my minimap no cops behind me but they where on the otherside of the freeway (i was coming back from sandy shores and going to los santos).

and i get hit by cop car doing a 100 + mph, as i flew through the air dead he did a nice power slide!

an annoying thing that happened to me tonight that was more likely bug related but still annoying, i was playing as michael and me and franklin where breaking into the fib building, we got the info we need from an fib computer, we fought our way out and we were climbing down the building and got to a point where i was about 10 - 20 feet from a ledge and i couldnt go any further down or climb back up but i could do short jumps and we had a police chopper hovering nearby, i had to go to my xbox 360 desktop.

I was stuck at Paleto Bay and didn't want to drive all the way back to LS so I called the cab. They were unavailable so I grabbed a bike and drove there. On the way I hit an uncoming car and fell down. I looked back at the driver that hit me, he was out of his car running way then he died. I was getting up when I realized that a mountain lion that had came down had killed him, I was still getting up and had no time to run away, so I got killed.

How much damage you take from falling off bikes, coupled with accuracy of the cops/heli gunners, and the rubber band AI makes trying to evade the cops on a bike so rage inducing. I'm escaping on an Innovation, cops aren't close behind me, I slow down slightly to duck into an alley, get rammed in the ass by a cop car, instantly wasted.

SWAT AI going full robocop and shooting 500 bullets in one millisecond into my head. Because you know, when you are somehow winning against those pricks who try to spam you with helicopters, shooting tires so you will no matter what crash into something then on top of that they have some sort of godlike ability to kill you with single minigun burst from their regular rifles.

Why do the protagonists only have 1 garage that only fit 4 cars? Can't I fit the multiple tastes of each character?

 

Michael's tastes in cars are in sport classics, restomods, and movie/TV inspired vehicles from the 70's and 80's like the General Lee.

 

Franklin's is in super cars, sport cars, and modern muscle cars.

 

Trevor's is in hotrods, modified muscles for the badass supercharged look, big off-roaders, and the Duke O'Death.

 

Nah, give everything to Online, xX_$w4gger_Xx is a much better and more important protagonist to R*.

today while had franklin drive to sandy shores i passed a npc driver on the shoulder and he got pissed at me and gave chase.

f*cking current gen version. That's my biggest annoyance. In the current gen version, there is a quick-throw button that lets you throw grenades without having to select them individually. This has lead to so many instances where I'm trying to get the cops off my ass with cheats so I can do fun sh*t, accidentally throw a sticky bomb, and blow myself up. From what I can tell, you can't disable this feature.

 

They could have just done it simple and put the cheats on the phone or in a menu like any other goddamn game. (Another annoyance)

 

First person view on bikes being sh*t. For some reason the view is tilted downwards so you're barely looking at what's in front of you. Not to mention that bike helmets are tinted, which is annoying as f*ck at night.

 

Constant disconnections from GTA Online after waiting like 5 minutes. R*'s sh*tty servers were so bad they kept me from playing heists.

 

Trying to steal a jet from Zancudo and ending up respawning halfway across the map in Los Santos.

 

Health. There is barely any health in this game. I bet the amount of health you get in this game is less than half of what you had in previous games. Dog bites you? Death. Trip and stumble down a small hill? Death. Jump a bike and the landing is a bit off? Death. Pisses me off so much when I die for some stupid reason, have to wait and wait for the game to load, only for me to be 5 miles away from where I was and $5000 down the drain.

 

I could go on like this for days.

 

Edit: A post reminded me about something

 

Traffic in this game is weird as hell. Like, say I want to cross the street. If I look straight and rush to the other side, I get flattened. But, if I do the same but instead look in the direction of where traffic is coming from, drivers stop for me. Like just because I'm looking at them makes them think "Huh, maybe I SHOULDN'T try to commit vehicular manslaughter!" Go ahead, test it yourself.

today as i was playing as franklin i robbed a 24/7 store, as i was doing that about 5 - 6 cop cars showed up and the cops opened fire on me.

the cops are never that fast!

i managed to flee in my fully upgraded comet but i didn't get too far as i slammed into a large truck at top speed and died.

When cops get on me. R* needs to add a never wanted cheat cause cops get annyoing when trying to have fun. Also it's really annoying only having five minutes of invinciblity cheat.

 

Play in Director Mode. You can disable police, and switch invincibility on. Also its quite handy setting it to clear weather, midday, and freezing time. Sunny daylight 24/7. Director Mode is also handy for location spawning too. If you want to get on top of a building, but don't have a heli, just set waypoint, and choose 'spawn location: Waypoint'.

Something else Director Mode is good for is personal cars. You have access to all cars saved in story mode garages/hangers/docks etc. Go into menu, garage, and choose vehicle. They spawn right in front of you (provided you're near a road). Helps for when you trash a car too, you can just reload it, and its fixed.

Director Mode is awesome.

I could go on.

 

Oh, something that annoys me about Story Mode... Um. Lamar's slow ass walking during missions. And Tonya too. She takes f*cking ages to walk to the towtruck. It sucks when you're trying to get Gold on missions, and have to keep it within a certain time.

I was finishing the story (again) and had to get Devin at his mansion. I was fighting with his bodyguards from outside his house OFF the street by his driveway and drivers panicked and kept running Trevor over. Just as he got up another one swerved wildly and went out of the way to run me over again until Trevor died

 

edit: That was just what annoyed me recently.

What annoys me consistently is the way R* programmed NPC to troll you. When you're out and about minding your business they drive "normal". Get into any kind of chase and they slam into you, wait at a light until you get close then run into you. Get in your way and continue to drive (whilst flipping you the bird) in the direction you're trying to go forcing you to stop, back up and go around them.

 

Also it's like they tried to stop our inner evil selves from coming out which GTA games were great at letting us do. It's not just GTAO with bad sports lobbies and now "mental state" rising. They also have it in SP with the way the game gives you wanted levels. Used to be you can stand on a street and build up a pile of bodies with a baseball bat. Now if a NPC even suspects you are up to something... "that's it! I'm calling the police".

It's like they want us to be civil or something!

I was totally minding my own business at the motel in Sandy Shores, going to photograph the monkey mosaic there and suddenly I have wanted level! Out of nowhere! It was night and the only inhabitants at the motel are hobos and cats.. This really pissed me off and I went into a huge rampage to kill every stupid cop there is.

Just customized a car to perfection at the LS Customs by the airport, parked it on the side of the road, and took another car so I could ramp it into the water. I did so and went back to get my custom car and it had disappeared. It was sitting right outside of LS Customs and I went as far as the edge of the water that leads to the docks and the car despawned. That's ridiculous. In a fit of rage I killed 2 people and within seconds had a 3 star wanted level since I had to kill the cops that came since there was no cover around or someplace to hide. After clearing the cops I swam across the water to the edge of the beach where there was a parking lot with some cars and got gunned down by a heli before I could make it to them. It's like the game encourages you to do ridiculous shot or cause chaos but then punishes you for doing so. Being invincible in director mode helps but it can be annoying running around with bullet holes covering every inch of your body. The visualization of damage done to you was way better in IV.

10 million dollar car + upgrades I bought from the website dissapeared just because I got out of it and stole a BMX to do some moves at the skate park...
