I ain't bothered, but I'd be for it if it cost 200k per feature, so eyes is 200k, then nose, freckles (each) and so on.

Then I could read the threads bitching about the high prices :]

After surgery we get a unique bandage mask we have to wear for 12 in-game hours that one we can't unequip.

If we take damage, the bandage mask switch to a Bloody Bandage Mask and the facial features underneath get randomized in ugly way.

Why would you want to wear a bondage mask?

Why not?

Didn't someone find files in the game that had to do with surgery? Maybe that's why Rockstar stopped letting people change their characters.

I think i do remember hearing of that long ago. I believe that Info long ago was described that the Surgery DLC would be released with the Rockstar Editor which had made great since at the time because it would be appropriate addition for making films in GTA V as you may want your character to look a certain way. lets say i wanted to do a Jet Li fan made GTA V Rockstar Editor film but i can't make it as authentic because i can't recreate my one/two characters to look like Jet Li.

This concept is something Rockstar could use to help make money and allow players to alter their characters.

There ought to be several plastic surgeon clinics around the map, or even just one that players can go to like the barbershop.

Once inside there should be a a cut scene for the consultation during pre-op where the player can select one or more features they wish to alter. A sex change costing the most. And after that have a second cut scene revealing the new youso to speak to Low Santos!

If they gonna do Sex Changes, they must bring back the Rapidite commercial ... Or even better, Rapidite sex kits lol

"Comes

with an instructional video, rusty knife and tourniquet, two aspirins, and

forty-seven pounds of estrogen. Its all you need! When its time for a

change, you want it fast. Rapidite- the do-it-yourself sexual re-alignment"

The leaked files that showed the surgery room was called mp_surgery-dlc and I think someone said it's been in development since late 2015, we could possibly see this dlc this summer/fall or early next year. What I hope for is extra customization like muscles, fat, and skinny options.

That'll make the PVP very imbalanced, unless if the skinnies get less health and damage protection for the sake of climbing and running faster while the chubbies get the extra health but lose the ability to sprint and take longer to climb things.

Muscle people take less damage and have little more health added while giving more melee damage, but they uh... I can't think of any disadvantages really, being muscular does give you the best health in real life but it'll be OP in this game.

Average weights are the current bodies were stuck with.

i don't think they would even bother with body shape being added in this game as it would require too big of a re-haul to GTA V which could have been put to better efforts for GTA 6.

Thx for this info. This actually shines light for a major possibility of surgery happening. i definitely feel we will see a BIG DLC or DLC's coming this summer due to the recent constant updates to GTA V's qabeta.

I actually don't think it will be as much work as you say it would be. I say this because there is actually some morphing when it comes to tattoos on characters. I noticed that some tattoos are more fitted to the female body type, and if put on a male body type, the image gets stretched. Seeing as clothing in pretty much every game, not just GTA, acts like a skin, I can imagine that the game engine would compensate for the skrunk/expanded character body appropriately, and it wouldn't look all that weird, since most clothing items are logoless.

You have to understand that even though the body can expand/skrunk R* would have to redo the animations of the characters depending on their body type. a fat character arms may glitch and go through his body as hes walking with his arms like his chubby body isn't wide. It would be to time consuming for GTA V and sounds like something they would do for another installment. plus even if R* did this people would ask them to do just as much or more tedious task as it.

I don't see why they don't just add a "Press Square to edit character" button to the character select screen.

maybe because square is the delete button!

It would need to be around 250,000 to prevent constant character changes especially since many would change it to 1 or 2 generic faces. But it would need a gender change option for added 100,000 for some people to change who want.

While clipping is an issue, they don't need to go all willy-nilly with it like in Saints Row. To avoid clipping, they'd just have to have an algorithm or two that actually modifies the wireframe slightly. They don't have to have overly bulky options, just more subtle changes, enough to have a visible difference. They don't have to be comic book character changes, nothing outrageous needs to happen, just like they did with facial construction in the character creator.

I like the earlier suggestion that the different body types would affect stats, that is absolutely a great idea, don't know how it'd work but I can come up with a few ways, both positives and negatives

R* possibly do have some automated Computer algorithm that helps them with animation and if so having body surgery may be possible. However they may need to re-texture some of the clothing models at a higher resolution to avoid stretched looking textures on a fat/muscular player. I'm pretty sure a remastering of textures on clothing isn't a big deal for a rich company like Rockstar.

YES PLEASE! I want GTA to be a little bit more RPG-ish.

They should do something to muscular people though. I don't want every goddamn person in GTA to be Arnold Schwarzenegger.
